  1. I think I've found out what the problem was.

After having talked to someone here in Portugal, who was having the same problem, he said he found out the problem came from the Onstar device. Since we don't have that here, I googled how to disconnect it (which I saw many people complaining from battery drain associated to onstar also), and I found a sheet, saying what fuse to take out. I took it out, and it's now disconnected.

I've left my car off for 48h, and when I started the engine, it started just fine, usually it had a little difficult turning on the engine, due to low battery, so I think I finally found the problem.

Just leaving it here, for other people who might find this topic, and have this same problem.

    Regards

  2. Hello. Sorry for the delay in response, but I bought a voltage meter through ebay and it took a lot of time to arrive. I measured the voltage of the battery with the engine on and off:

    Engine off: 12.50v

    Engine on: 13.60v-13.65v

I also went to a car shop before receiving the volt meter, to have the battery tested, and they said it was ok, there was no problem with it. Although, I don't know the values they got.

As for the playstation, I have a button that cuts the power to it, since I never use it, the button is always on off, and no power goes to it (I know this because if I switch the button to on, the red led light on the playstation lights up immediately).

    Regards

  3. that battery under the hood probably is not stock, but it just wont be able to handle all the components you are trying to run. just like trying to pound on a 3000 watt system with stock electrical. even if there isnt a parasitic leak occurring, the battery and alt just wont be able to handle it. i say you look at a new alternator. ?

I'm from Portugal, so I cant go to autozone, or buy a d3100...

I'm going to have the battery checked with the engine off to see the voltage

  4. Hello. I have a Hummer H2, which I bought and already had an audio system installed, I don't know the specifications, but I can basically say what it has and post some pics so you can have an idea:

4 small tvs on the back seats, 1 tv on the roof, and 1 Alpine LCD Dvd player

    4 Subwoofers

    2 amplifiers

    1 playstation

Sometimes, when I don't turn on the car for 2 or 3 days, the battery just goes down, and the car won't start. I've tested the battery and they say the battery is good, but maybe the audio system with the car turned off, draws a lot of battery, and my car battery isn't enough to handle it. I'm a complete noob on this, so I don't know how this works, I'm completely clueless.

Here is a picture of my current battery:

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

    Regards
