well your buddy is sitting on 72 inches of cone area to his 40 inches, but he also has 1000w on you. i would say youd be safe to take the bet but it also depends on how the setups are done. just because its a wall doesnt automatically make it loud. i witnessed a guy with an explorer at a spl contest only hit a 145 with a wall of i think 3 18inch subs.(idk what the power was)

it was one of those im only buying you one thing. so he got him one that did it all so that he wasnt taking it apart and trying to upgrade it himself, but yeah i see your point but then again i dont game on my laptop so im in the dark with you on the gaming laptop thing.

my brother has the msi gt683r and he hasnt had any issues whatso ever with it. the only thing that was wrong is when his power cord was cut it took almost 3 weeks for him to get the new one in. other than that he games on it does school work and all that teenage computer stuff and he loves it. i think my dad paid like 1500 or 1600 for it.

we are going to wire it up to 2 ohm and see if that fixes the issue and i will post the results.

the amp has a remote gain knob to turn it up and down, but the system is tuned with a scope so i know im not running it at full all out full gain. i do know that much.

My wifes car has a punch 1000 amp that powers an AQ HDC3 wired down to half ohm, but here lately it has started to go into safe mode but i can not figure out why. i have already checked all of the fuses and checked the voltage (which is staying stable). any suggestions on what might be going wrong or is the amp just done with its life its gone threw three different systems, my wifes being the third, each at about a year a piece. the amp will stay on if it is not played loud with the gain about half. if the the remote gain knob is turned up all the way it wont go past 40 out of 60 on the volume on the stereo. itll go about 50 out of 60 at half remote gain knob depending on the song.

i mean any suggestions on how many 18's i should put in like i said the truck is most likely going to be spl only so its not going to be a daily driver anymore

the plans we had for the blow through would stack like a tripod basically so thats where the camper comes in plus im going to slam it with airags so i need to put the pumps somewhere too.

If i would wall it off id put two on top one in the middle on bottom and have the port right in the middle

I have a 99' Dodge Ram 1500 extended cab and im trying to decide if i want to wall it off or if I want to do a blow through i already know im going to do 3 DC Audi level 5 18's with 4,000 watts a piece. just dont know how i want to do it yet.

My roomate actually bought one of those DC level 3 8s and put it in a T-line box it was pretty nasty in the trunk of a ford focus.

I want to lower my 99 Dodge Ram but i dont know wether or not to lower it with springs to drop it and the bag the rest or if just to bag it copletly and not deal with springs.
