  1. Make sure your output from the H/U is the rear/subwoofer and also make sure the H/U setting for the subwoofer is on and make any adjustments on the H/U as needed.

all thats fine ive checked that a million times.

  2. ok what head unit do you have? lets start there. Im about 99.9 percent positive it has to do with either your head unit setting( if you only have two outputs one of them has to be dedicated sub out and set from the head unit like so) or your rcas are crossed up.

    alpine cde-102L

  3. how are your RCAs being ran you have three inputs needed at your amps

    Sub amp in

    front channels in

    rear channels in

you have from the head unit

    front out

    rear/sub out im assuming?

this is the only thing i can think of. The amp has to be getting a full range signal some how.

the preouts that my amp has is a input, output, and a master/slave out/in.

yea i know and idk how 2 fix it, and its a brand new amp straight from the factory!

  4. this is a long shot. you dont by any chance have your rcas hooked up wrong do you? like a front to your sub out or anything? you do have three preouts right not using the pass throughs.

    naaa thats straight.

and my radio only has 2 preouts. 1 high pass and 1 low pass.

  5. well if you arent tuned to 20 hz the 15 hz setting of your subsonic is going to lead to the death of your woofer if you are playing way undertuning.

ok but thats not my main concern right now. i got 2 figure out y there is voice comming out of my sub?

  6. SSF set to 15 hz? are you tuned to 20? thats not your issue here but its an issue. does the voice coming out of the sub match teh vocals coming out of your other speakers.

no i just like the lows.

    and yes it is.

  7. SSF set to 15 hz? are you tuned to 20? thats not your issue here but its an issue. does the voice coming out of the sub match teh vocals coming out of your other speakers.

  8. there is a deep low voice comming out of my sub when there is no bass and all voice. and i know there isent soppose 2. i hav redone the ground on my amp and radio alose i changed out the rcas. idk wats wrong. i really need some help, any comments would be appreciated!

    thanks

  9. No i have two amps one is already being used to power my subs the second one is for my highs...just bought it yesterday...670 watts....i want to use it for 4 6x9's and i wanna know if it would sound good if also put some 6.5 speakers as a replacement of the stock speakers...powered by my jensen double din head unit

oo shiii i personally hate having speakers hooked up 2 my head unite, for 1 it sounds like shit and 2 it is nothin but distortion, so u should put all ur speakers on tha hifonics amp and c how that goes, and if u dont like it chance tha kickers 2 tha head unite.

  10. Is you're power wire atleast 0 guage?

Because i wouldn't put 250amp fuse on 4 guage wiring it will burn.

    its actually 2 gauge.

You will need to find out what size fuse to use with 2 gauge. Its fairly rare so I don't know what size to use with 2 gauge.

4 gauge takes a 125 to 150 amp and 0 gauge is usually rated for a 300 amp fuse. 2 gauge would be somewhere in the midde of that range.

alright, well i already bought 20 feet of 2 gauge so i ges its gona have 2 work lol

  11. I would use a 250 amp fuse. I like to have a little headroom in my fusing exspecially if my amps have built in fuses.

only tha bass amp has a built in fuse but tha 4 channel amp dont.

Then you will need to add another fuse right before the 4 channel and for that fuse I always stick to the manufacture's recommendation.

the 4 channel amp has 2 30 amp fuses on the outside and the bass amp has 140 amp fuse on the inside, so y do i need a fuse be4 tha 4channel amp?
