  1. I'm not using a step down anyway, so theirs no point in arguing about it in this thread. I ask the question just to see what you guess thought. Yes curiosity got the best of me plus I was bored at work. Also I have a 330 alt on my car to help run my Mids and highs, yes I know it's overkill but I got a great deal, bc I packaged it with the other alternator, bracket, and voltage regulator. Also, I still haven't got my batteries bc I've been busy. I didn't order them off line. I bought them from a friend of mine (beau boren). Some of you may know him. But when I finally get all my equipment I'll be running 2 18s (haven't decided which ones yet) on 4 Memphis mc1.2500s. I have one more 2500 to buy and then I'll decide on subs. If you reas this entire post then you are truly a car audio fan/addict lol
  2. The CM cast would be much more bad ass if their F/S wasn't so high and their XMAX was higher.
  3. I've already got a 16 v setup I'm just waiting to get my 16 v batts tomorrow..i was jus curious how much of a difference it's going to make in reality so I asked for you all opinion. I have 2 330 amp alternators. One alternator is running the vehicle at 12v and the other has a voltage module on it but since I don't have my batts yet it's only charging at 14.4 for the moment
  4. So minus the price and minus the headache installing it, is it a better setup?
  5. What are some advantages/disadvantages of running a 16 volt system to a daily setup?
  6. That's beaus truck, I took the vid about a week ago, but right now he only has 4 amps in bc he kept blowing subs with his other 2 lol
  7. Thanks man. I did it from my phone and I guess it didn't copy right lol
  8. 2 incriminator audio wardens and 4 ia 40.1s http://m.youtube.com/index?client=mv-google&xl=xl_blazer&desktop_uri=%2F&gl=US#/watch?v=gwIwUE1BtbM
  9. Those are the prices at a locally Memphis dealer in my area...and how much for a dc level 4 18?? I may be interested!!
  10. They do not ask $500 bucks for a 500 rms sub. There mojo 15 (1750 rms) run for about $550. And the new C3 15s (800 rms) are about $320 each
  11. georgiaspl, on 15 August 2011 - 07:40 PM, said: Even typing on YouTube the number of people with them is very small.. That's cause their $900+ a pop dude, can you drop 1800 on a pair of subs? How about $3000 on amps to push them? $500 on batteries? 250-300 in wiring? $130 on wood $50 on terminals and that's for cheapos.... do some math high quality stuff cost big bucks... And that's if you do it yourself, theses are not kicker cvrs. Not trying to be brash but it sounds like you didn't research at all before you came in here vomiting info Have a nice day Didn't do my research? You act as if other systems (fi btl's, nightshades, mojos, w7, ia wardens, dc level 4's or 5's etc) dont need expensive amps, batteries, alternators, wiring etc. Get real son
  12. I dont mean any kind of harm to the community as chevyboyz said I was jus curious. Ive seen tons on incriminator audio, dc, sundown, fi, and dd but I've never saw a smd or aa for that matter. I was wanting to purchase 2 of them myself but with never hearing them or seeing anyone have them I'm very skeptical.
  13. Actually I only made 1 versus post. The other was by no means a vs post. Also I didn't think asking which sub would be better for my application was a versus post..yeah call me a troll it's cool I just ask a simple question that no one can answer apparently...
  14. On this forum the smd subs are like king of subs, but I've never seen a competitor run them? Hmm makes me wonder..
  15. I love my 2 mojo qvc's and my MC2500s...but like jmilch said this forum is very selective
