Went away later on tho. Headlights dimmed like mad crazy too lol doesnt even have to be loud But hopefully the big 3 does do wonders like everyones saying. Id hate to spend even more money on a battery and/or alternator..

My old sys did maybe.. 500rms and 8g did the job for me.

Yea I got a 95 explorer.. and it cant handle my 2k rms system, not even close to what it can put out either.. Cant even turn it up louder than my old shitty system which was like 500rms.. just a basic one. It handled that fine tho.

Thanks.. yea a free 150a fuse was coming with my block so I was just gonna leave that in till i needed to replace it, might as well. and 300a? wouldnt my amp blow fuses before the block then? im getting Cadence 0G wire. pure oxygen free copper if thats what u wanted to know. (0G15M) I plan on usin the amp I have till it gives me shit. Cuz I wont put up with that!..

Also.. it seems like my battery now is kind of shit.. so thats why I was leaning towards a new battery instead of alt. Never said he didnt tell me good info. He mentioned 3 things I should buy and I just wanted to clarify im not made of money. So idk what im doing yet im just getting info. Didnt know with a 2k rms system would involve replacing an alt but after the big 3 ill let u guys know where im at and get final decisions. I dont really wanna pay more than i did for my amp which was 250 so i guess that can be a price limit.. I didnt set one cuz half the time people dont pay attention to them anyways.. so no need to get angry man. cheaper the better i guess. and the wiring is gonna be all 1/0g'd out. my speaker wire is 8g. I just wanted to get the battery out of the way first cuz itll prolly be more expensive. also whats wrong with copper clad aluminum wiring? I guess ill have to do that.. first i just wanna know if usin copper clad alluminum 0g wiring is ok.. atleast for my system. and how do i check it exactly? Honestly I didnt really intend to spend much more on this system. But after hookin it up and crankin it, it turned into another story. I can get cca 0g wiring for 1.95 a feet.. and everything else is like 3.60.. so thats a nice difference. And a good answer to know.

I got 2 d2 pioneer champ series pros. (2k rms anyways) home made box. was fun stuff. But idk I guess I can try the big 3 first.. but it gave my battery a pretty hard beating before i could even turn it up all the way so i figured another battery would help even after i did the big 3.

Also.. my amp takes 200a of fusing. for the fuse block should i get 200a or 250a?

My mistake.. moneys the only issue. not gonna put a limit up but nothing too expensive.

So.. my battery def cannot handle my system. my amp is ovn1-5500d the voltage meter dances hard core.. goes from full all the way down. and im sure the headlights dim now. Doesnt even sound louder than my older shittier system.. and my old sys didnt take a toll on the battery. But idk what battery to get. Didnt know theres so much technical stuff to getting a damn battery. So some help would be appreciated on pickin a battery to throw back by my subs. And will it make it way louder? I wasnt too impressed of the new system as a first impression.

The amp (ovn1-5500d) Power acoustik 5500 watt gothic series, etc. Pos Pos Neg Neg It doesnt say its bridgable.. so can i still hook it up.. Left pos / Right neg and leave the other pos and neg in the middle alone. Help me out here.. was hookin it up today.. and realized it didnt say bridged like the other amps ive had so.. HELP please and thanks. yes that is fine its internally bridged for ease of wiring you will be fine hooking it up like you said For real? ok sweet, thanks so much.. that halted my work.. but i need a bit to predrill some holes in the box i made for my subs.. I got everything all hooked up just need a damn bit now lol and that question.. Actually.. I got another question. does the wire fully matter for now. I got 8g wire for the subs.. and i ran out of wire to actually run from the amp to the sub terminals. But anyways im just gonna order some more just not this second. and.. now my power and ground wires 8g also.. from last system.. should i 1/0g that shit out.. plan on it for the future cuz i have my subs in the back facin towards me and.. i wanna put my amp on the back of my box but the damn wires wont reach.. so i need the new wire anyways with a few extra feet. and do u need 1/0 for the big 3 upgrade? that amp uses 1/0 for power and ground so using 8 gauge for that amp is starving it so yes i would get a 1/0 amp wiring kit for it and if your going to do the big three then use 1/0 so you dont have to go and redo it do it right the first time around ok thanks.. so 1/0 power and ground.. and use the same rca cables? And my amp says its 1 ohm stable.. does that matter anything?

Ok.. so I got 2x pioneer premiers comin, dual 2ohm 2000rms. TS-W3002D2 then a ovn1-5500d, 3200 watts RMS @ 1 ohm, 2500 watts RMS @ 2 ohms, 1700 watts RMS @ 4 ohm Id like to know how I should wire it.. and what itd sound best at. Not a professional here.
