  1. It does have alot of bass, nice and low to just how i like it.. Thanks for the song!!

How do you like them AQ'S? How do you think they stack up to some BL'S?

    Couldn't tell you.

But the AQ's have been gone for awhile now.

But they were excellent subs when I had them.

Took tons of power like a boss.

Just didn't hold together for what I wanted them to do.

thats the same thing i have heard from other too..

Im guessing what you want them to do is play extremely low and loud...??

The suspensions wouldn't take the low notes which kinda sucks. :(

  2. 25hz is a bit on the low spectrum and this is coming from someone who loves the low notes.

It may just be the way my truck loads but with my box tuned to 28hz it peaks sealed at the dash @ 26hz.

It'll play music all the way to 23hz before it starts rolling off too bad.

It's even more nasty with the doors open which is a bonus for parking lot demos.

I'd say 27hz is the lowest I'd tune any in car box.

Again, this is all just personal preference and you may do as you please, just throwin' in my two cents worth.

  3. You'll more then likely need the whole front suspension setup ( the hubs etc. ) and some beefy ass tires in the rear to keep it from slinging around.

Had a buddy that did this and it was ridiculous.

    Wrong.

The 302 tucks nicely in with the stock suspensions you just need to run a dual sump oil pan to clear the front I-Beams.

    Here's a bunch of info.

    Also,

    Check PMs in a min.

  4. so many red flags... the gain is almost all the way up? blindly turning dials? bass boost?

how did you set your gains before you mounted it?

He said bass knob, as in remote gain. At least i'm pretty sure that's what he meant.

Even if his settings are terrible, the only reason why they would be any different would be that he moved them somehow.

i would have to be reminded how the AP amps work. if its a remote gain or remote boost.

    AP's run a remote gain.

  5. Technically, you can't do DB drag.

Your box must be behind the B Pillar....

I can probably whip you up something for pure numbers but it's not going to be useable for comps.

Only format I think you can do is Port wars and not many people do that format.

he said he wanted to do 150+ DB there pimpin

and he would be in the extreme class in db if box is in front B piller

    Is that how that works?

Ah, I thought no boxes were allowed in front. LMAO
