Don't mean to thread jack but is it possible to make a sweep with audacity
Not really.
You could make a 50hz tone and slowly highlight individual portions of it and change speed but you'll still have the instant effect of note change versus drop.
-
When I first got into the C&S game I was using Audacity.
It's way fuckin' hard and time consuming but possible.
Just look for peaks in the song where hi hats or snares hit.
And measure the space between the two.
The counter at the bottom will tell you how many seconds.
Memorize that number.
Then find a portion you want to chop.
Highlight the amount of time you figure in the previous step and hit CTRL - X.
Now leave the cursor where it is but use the pointer finger to drag it over the equal amount of time and hit CTRL - V.
Voila!

what would you recommend the lowside reading be with the pump on?
Honestly, best course of action is to take it to the A/C place.
Are you sure the fan is coming on with the a/c?
We had an older honda civic that the a/c would work for a little, and then cut off because the fan wasn't coming on, new motor solved it.
And this is also a probability.
If your fan isn't keeping the condenser cool, you'll have bad performance.
-
I'm guessing its lowside, thats where you fill it right?
2000 pontiac sunfire 2.2l non ecotec
Yep, fill on low side.
OK, I was just making sure you weren't running an R-12 system.
Mixing different types of refrigerants is EXTREMELY dangerous.
Were talking about shit exploding.
-
it was 40lbs of refrigerant? Idk man i just bought the can with the gauge on it and it was way over what the gauge could read
It may be overcharged.
Most automotive A/C Systems usually take anywhere from 1.5-3lbs of refrigerant to be full.
The gauge was most likely low side pressure.
What Year, Make and Model?

I'm a mechanical nub bigpimpin I have no clue LOL but i am going to take a look at that document
No problem man.
Not too much in there, but hopefully you can take something from it.

Thanks. I replaced all of items you mentioned a year or two ago when I replaced the compressor, even the canister looking thing. It was way over pressurized, I then let pressure out (sorry environment) and it started working again but wasnt cold so I recharged it once again back up to 40ish lbs and it was perfect. I went to autozone to get some parts and it worked all the way there, then on the way home it started doing its bs again.
Pretty sure im just going to take it to the place that vacuumed my car the first time, they only work on radiators and a/c so I figure they should be able to get me all fixed up.
40lbs of pressure, or 40lbs of refrigerant?!?!
LoL
Here's a paper I wrote up for my A/C Class.
Not sure if it will help you, but here it is, nonetheless.
-
One thing people forget to to do when replacing the compressor is to ALWAYS replace the Receiver Dryer/Accumulator.
Depending whether or not your system is a fixed orifice tube type or a therostatic expansion valve type makes a big difference in the diagnosis.
The only real way to find out what is wrong is to take it to a MACS certified technician and have him hook a set of manifold gauges up to it.
Follow your A/C lines around until you come across a component that looks like a vacuum canister and look to see if it has a sight glass on it.
Look to see if the stuff flowing through it looks gray or bubbly.

Thanks for the love, guys.
Feel free to try this out.

im from greece and i go to this place where all the local bass heads hang out even the guys with the shops come with demo cars and everything and i havent heard your songs not once. Now i dont know if they do have them and they want to keep them a secret for whatever reason seem good to them, thats there isue. Im just letting you know that very few people here in greece have heard your song encluding me (keep up the good work by the way, your C&S are awsome!!)
Check the link I posted in the first post.
I believe one or two of my songs are used on the official Bass Wars CD.
And since you need some tunes, here's a place to get a ton of them.

Calling us "computer Djs" out is not making you sound like a better dj. Just makes you sound like an arrogant ass.

56hz FTL.
A minor glimpse of 42 here and there, but I think I'll pass.

The audiopipe will run at 1.3 no problem, your type rs will take the power just fine if you know what your doing
Sure will. I currently run my 2 3k's @ 1Ω for daily.
Of course, with the car off they'll eventually drain the batteries enough to start causing them to go into protect. (Know from experiencing this more times than I'd like to admit.)
it will play it, just be careful, it will clip easy and go into protect..i have ran mine as low as .5 bridged
You got lucky.
Mine would tease you at 0.5Ω. "Okay, WOW, JESUS, Shut off. Sombitch.)

Ask Audiofanaticz about SPL Dynamics amps.
From what I've gathered, they do rather well.
-
ask your friend how much he paid for one of the meters
He paid $10 for it.
Won it in a raffle back when CACO used to do them.
Looks pretty damn loud for some 10's.

Wait, this is you rapping?
I could definitely roll to this.

The human ear distorts WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY before the signal does when it comes to loud. As for clipping and junk.... clipping gives more power. More clipping, more power.
That is some extremely false information right there.
If this were true, all 90+db systems would sound distorted...
-
Dudes pretty good.
Chops could be cleaned up just a bit tho.
Not bad tho!
