  1. im not looking for a high performance system, i just want something that can play some of the newer games at 30+ fps

Not sure if you can read this. But I threw together a budget build for you, assuming your current hard drive is going to be reused.

    Capture-1.jpg

    If you can't read that:

MZXT M59 Black Steel Case (Just threw that particular case in, you can choose a different one if you want)

ASUS GTX 560 1GB Graphics Card

    ASUS Black SATA DVD-ROM Drive

    Raidmax Hybrid 530SS Power Supply

    G. Skill 4gb (2x2) 1600 Dual Channel RAM

    ASRock Fatal1ty p67 Performance Motherboard

    Intel core i3 2100

This setup wll play BF3 at high settings at at least 45+fps if Antialiasing is kept down to 2X.

I've built numerous computers for friends and clients using these parts more than a few times and they are all very reliable and durable parts. If you need help figuring out how to build a computer there is a bunch of DIY videos on youtube and on Newegg. It's a lot more straight forward than people think.

this looks good, cant afford it right now though, i need to save up some money.

  2. 14-15 square inches of port area PER cubic feet of net volume can work, If you post your dims, car and amp models, I can give you a design suggestion for you to evaluate.

ill get the deminsions after work today,

2004 silverado 1500 ext cab, i want the box behind the drivers seat.

    orion cobalt 800.1

  3. i will be there, not sure if my system will be up and running though

that would be sick to hear, if it was up and running, the loudest system ive heard was 2 12's in a prefab box...

where is it? if i had to guess houston?

its in sam houston parkway, i think..

  4. I "see" the design now. I can't imagine it being fun to build and get it right. There's a lot of fabrication involved. I think you want big bass but still want somewhat of a backseat obviously. You're probably going to have to sacrifice somewhere. That concept looks like a pain in the ass to build and get right. If you're really dying to do it, go for it. It doesn't look like the passengers would enjoy themselves at all being squished between all that audio equipment. That sort of leads to the idea, why even need passengers back there?

i just wanted something that not many people have. I might just lift up my seats like 4" and do a ported box with 2 10's. ive also got another idea ill put the pic up.
