Thanks for the advice. :good: Im also looking at this http://www.knukonceptz.com/productDetail.cfm?prodID=KAR12SS but ill also consider the kompressed wire if you have good experience with it. I have 5.25 infinity kappa components in the front and 5.25 infinity kappa coaxials in the back. Going to power it with a alpine mrp f600

seriously, dont get that wire. it is the biggest pain in the ass to strip ever. everyone who gets it, regrets it. myself included.

    +2 :werd_msword:

the only one I do like from the karma series is the 8ga. great to hook up your subs in your box!

edit: I have always been a fan of the klear kable. great price on a bunch of OFC wire and works great. cant beat that :good:

  2. Always good to hear from people with experience in this forum. Quick question when i get my subs and amp (2 15inch DC level 3 15's & DC 1.2k or soundstream dtr1.1700) i dont want to get a capacitor because ive heard they are useless. So i want to add a Kinetik hc600 (since they arent costly at all). I know you basically run the + from your front battery to the + in the back and same with the - post and then fuse on each side but would i need one of these ? http://www.darvex.com/store/pc/Stinger-80-Amp-Battery-Relay-12p56.htm

  5. Hello, just wondering if my sample was sent out yet, name is corey norton

Yep yep. I got your samples sent out on Saturday with the second batch.

The only samples that haven't been sent out are the last 40 or so that contacted me around the 31st. I'm just waiting for some more Alpha to fulfill those.

I dont remember when i contacted you but is mine out too? Jonathan Becerra. Sorry to bug :)

  6. Hey I just got a Viper 5901 installed in my 91 BMW and its really not that sensative. I have the sensitivity at 15. I was wondering if there's an option to make it more sensative (I have to kick my car real hard in order for the car to chirp). I don't want the approx sensor because I heard it goes off a lot and I live in busy apartments and there's a lot of cats so don't want to bug my neighbors. But I want it to chirp if let's say someone opens their door too wide and hits my car or if someone sits in the hood. Would moving the module help or should I get an add on? Thanks

  7. I would would most definate do a second battery ......

try a kinetik hc-600 it is said to be more powerful than 100 1 farad capacitors .... and about the same price as a farad cap !

I have 2 of these and they kick ass to tell you the truth !

    http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_7324_K...C+KHC+600-.html

Actually, the XS Power D680 (same size as above) will produce much more power than 100 1 farad capacitors, and is good for up to 1,000W of power! Not to mention big supporters of SMD :)

    d680.jpg

They can also be purchased through Mechman, Darvex, ***, and many others trusted supporters of SMD ;)

Dont mean to thread jack but how much do one of those cost?

  8. I liked the cvr I had but I bottomed it out with 600wrms, only once, it was like a freak accident I guess, but after that it kinda scared me lol

i think im going to go for the 2 12 inch type r's if i can get them for cheap like the cvrs. Thanks for your input and sharing your experience :drinks:

    Get a design from RAM_Designs...

    BUILD YOUR OWN BOX

Ya im going to have my friend build me a box for them. Hes a great box builder. He knows wayyy more than i do lol

  9. Why when sundown SA series are the same price? But if I had to choose it would be the type r.

I can get the cvr's and type r's for under $100 a sub so it would only cost me about $200 tops for both subs. I have a friend thats a dealer for DC Audio so i can also always just go with a single 15inch DC Level 3 sub but i dont want to have to wait for it to be made.
