I agree id rather have a daily system that plays mid 50s than a spl box that does 60s. No discredit to true spl guys.. it takes a lot of work and money to do 60s... but I love music not tones.. and power upgrades planned

i also agree. Currently for a new alt and batts. Once thats done, ab 1100.1. Next week looking to test of my friends SD 16k. Should be sick. with my loading i should get some crazy power out of this thing.

hit 156.41 @ 53hz. just got bored of spl .. sounded like crap daily tuned too high. Kept blowing the subs.

Very nice build dude, i´ve seen all of your builds actually, i was considering building a flat wall just like that in my EX, but, i DD´s doesn´t like "small" ports at all, you managed to get around 335SQ of port with the flat wall, honestly speaking, that doesn´t work for my 3518´s (unless i´m doing something wrong haha) , that´s why i´m going with a 6th order in the future i guess, what´s the shell dimensions ?if you don´t mind me asking

Nice score if your going for straight spl id tune higher add more power and mod inside of box for better airflow. If you want to groundpound leave it

for now im gonna leave it and do a few mods inside. this is a daily ride. Goals a 158 daily.

At first my port was 33.5 x 25" and 10" wide. was hitting 154 @ 29hz. It was fun but didnt hit the notes i liked.

I have now cut down the port to 15'long and now sitting at 37hz @ 156.5. I will have lots of work to get this baby ready.

Last power test i was sitting at a starting rise of .3 up to 1.1 and 7300rms of power clamped.

Currently working on getting batts and new alt. Not charging above 13.4 not good.

Most important thing i forgot. The box is 34.6cubes and 95% square.

Started to strengthen the rest of the box. added another layer of 3/4 to top bottom and sides. Back was ok being at 5" thick.

sucks has not having any space.

33.5 x 25" port .. sexy lows.

inexpensive bracing which works.

never glued it down the baffles. tuck taped them just for fitting in case i wanted to cut the port down a little or make other changes inside.

Built with single sheets of 3/4 and 2x6 and 2x4. lots of PL. Up to here was all for ss-1-2 Lasted a year got bored.
