I'm thinking the MA amp just cause of the power and it looks cleaner. Its going to just run in the K5 for a few months or so. Not long though.

I'd get a quality amplifier for $400, not the ones mentioned in the OP. A Crecendo BC2k, DC2k, AQ2200, or maybe even a Sundown Amplifier.
I have the electric for these power hungry amps, and my K5 build is SPL over SQ

I have a special savings for a DD M4A, that will be my final amp for my build but I want a 400 dollar amp because I got gift money from a friend (graduated yesterday) that said he wanted to see me get an amp that I could use then hand down to him. Calm down my people lol. I have my reasons. lol

they are both power hungry
both are close in power
the MA s cleaner though and it's $100 cheaper. I'd try to get a crescendo 3500 instead though

Ok so I'm ready to buy an amp for my 2 SMD 18's and I'm not the richest guy and I was wondering what would be my best option in the 400 dollar range. Alright I got a 1983 K5 Blazer walled off with 2 SMD 18's. Powered by a T800.2BD(SUBS) and a T500.2BD(MIDS/HIGHS). Four Rockford Punch 6.5 mids, 6 Rockford tweets. I know I need more power. Just got to save up for it!!! After the amp purchase is a new windshield (LOL). Then finish up my final piece on my wall that will be rapped in a nice material(Not sure yet). Hey, I am trying to decide on subs. Im only 17 and no job, i have am looking to spend around $2000. My friend has 2x Type R 12's and those hit nice but not even close to what i want. So i was looking at 2x Type R 15s. But before I get purchase them I want to hear from someone that owns them or has heard them if there worth the money. If not, what should I look at? Thanks.
With 2 grand you can get a whole entire system a hell of a lot nicer than 2 type r.

Steve straight up your the main reason I stayed with car audio. Your an idol bro. Don't let ignorant petty hate bother you. IMO you have it all man and keep up the great work. You may not hear it a lot, but I appreciate all the work you've put in the audio world, thank you.
