  1. people need to get job's instead of stealing what we work hard for I don't know about any of you but it takes me a long time to save for something new. In Ohio insurance does not cover any aftermarket audio just stock.. I have to park on the street so I got the 2 way autopage alarm and it setup with a backup battery....

Ohio insurance does cover aftermarket audio. Got me a double din from em when mine was jacked.

I was told by nationwide insurance that subs, amps, and such could not be covered.... who do you have

  2. you want 0 gauge.. especially for 2600 watts and 3 batteries. I did my first big 3 in 4 gauge because I had it left over and was short on cash also... I did notice a difference when I switched to 0 gauge. You also may want to look into a h/o alt when you can afford it.

Trust me I have been looking at alt's but it,s going to take me a couple months to come up with $650 for shocks and struts so maybe by next spring I can get one.. as of now my setup is killing my lights and probably hurting the amp if under powered.

  3. I have been looking online for some 0 gauge and it's expensive. I want to do the big 3 and also run 1 run of 0 gauge from front to back and a ground in the back.. my current setup Stock alt 105 amp 1 front Battery 2 batteries in the trunk 1 4 gauge power from front to back.. all power and ground wires are 4 gauge all of this is powering my sound-stream tx1 2600d (BDay Present) and that's on a solo x 18 (used)......... Every one says to use 0 gauge but I don't have that kind of cash..... if anyone has any used or scrap pieces they can send my way It would be greatly appreciated... Thanks

  4. specially wen you over power them

A local guy has one of these in his blazer running an AQ 3500 and he has proper wiring and its a daily beater never has had a problem with it..... I just ordered a 100ft roll of 0 gauge wire from audio savings so I hope it will do the big 3 and 2 runs back 1 hot and 1 ground plus enough to run from the back batt to my amp....

  5. nice sub but ugly box lol

Yeah I bought it off a guy on craigslist im waiting on a local audio shop to have time to build me a new one. that sub and box came out of a cavalier so it fit in mine. It actually housed 2 15's be for he just rigged it to work..... It slams like I said I hit a 139.2 on the dash with a smaller amp

are you sure the shop is going to build the box CORRECTLY?

Yeah he is really good all of his boxes do well at competition. and the owner of American bass said he was the best in the area.. Youngstown ohio

  7. Yes 4 gauge I know I should run bigger wire but don't have the funds.. I'm running a sound-stream tx1 2600d and a bass inferno high amp.. the sound-stream is pushing one kicker solo x 18 in a 5cf box

you're running 4 gauge on an amp that pulls in excess of 250 amps of current. yeah...i'd definitely think about rewiring everything with 1/0 first THEN doing the big 3 (you could even do 2 runs of 4 gauge for each of the big three.

edit: are those wet cell batteries?! that's a HUGE no no dude.

The one is a wet cell truck batt and the other is a shuriken 35 amp hour. should I just have the dry cell batt then
