Oh yeah. Glue and screws ftw!! I've noticed with mdf, it does need to be the right kind of screws and exactly the right size predrilled holes for the screws for them to bite really well.

I doubt 2 3400s will be enough for 5k. I ran 4k for a while with a 270 amp alternator, 2 3400s, and lots of 0 gauge and my voltage would still drop down to around 12 volts

yea. I tryed but dont have photo bucket n I dnt see option to upload on here this suxsDefinitely want to see pics of the impala!! And the DC gear as well. I have a 65 impala myself that i hope to put some DC audio in one day.
It shouldnt take too long to set up a photobucket account. I didnt have one either till a couple of years ago. Its not too hard to figure out.

Congrats on your dc purchase! I just love it when people here in my small town ask if my subs are as good as kickers, jls, etc... Then i make them sit in my car. Had one guy last week that jumped out before i even turned it up good!!
And my cousins wife had two level 3 15s in a regular ported box on a 2k that got pretty loud, so i know your setup will slam good!!

Before you posted your list i was just about to chime in and say 7 12s wired at .57ohms on a 10k
Yea the 10.0 was very possible, but I decided since I already had 3 12s it made sense to use those. So the amp requirements must be 2 amps, can really wire 6 d.7s very well.
Yeah, i doubt the one amp would have liked .23 ohms!! haha
