so like the title says who has all had problems getting things warantied on their vehicle because of some BS answer from a dealership!!?? just for venting and discussion lol.
'I have had them tell me they wouldnt warranty my alternator becuase i had a cold air intake kit so it must be a race truck' HAHA lmao

Try another dealership, my warranty would be voided if I added cold intake kit. If you have the stock CAI just replace it as stock and take it back to the dealer!
I have what FORD considers mods that voids your vechicle warranty in writing which was given to me when I bought my SUV. Your best bet is try another dealership!

o they already fixed it lol just like the superchip on my truck voided my warranty pa ha i laughed at em..
the only one i had to work for was the extra battery and wires for the system burning up my alternator but i still got it warrantied. you just have to go in with a little knowledge so they dont fee you

jeez people pay $50.00 to run for 30secs. and last year everywhere i went it was 30.00 for 2 minutes so i cut mine in half and added another minute cause im not trying to dick anyone?

yea n8 is right...
but as insight i am running a massive audio db8000 at .5ohm rest..
has been running for about a month now now problems (over heating, clipping, etc)
it demos at shows and rides daily for hours at a time. i also am running on little electrical upgrading.. (stock alt. only add onis a sp2150 battery) voltage never below 12.3volts this is at the amp)

Yea I know all of this the question was asked because of a situation I'm at right now. My truck with the t3 and the otter truck with the pb. I hit a 148.8 legal he did a 140.1 and he still says he's louder so thanks guys for the answers (sarcasm or not)

yea man 150 is way away from the 145..
i was running a 146.7 with my 2 15's so i rebuilt the enclosure but i still wanted to go higher using a lower tuned port... before was tuned at 34hz now on 30hz...
brand new out the box i am burping a 150.9 at 48hz in the kick and a 148.8 on the dash... i should go a little higher after i brace and sound deaden the back wall add a batt and a HO alt.. but thats only talking a few tenths...
like all of us decide if you want a street beat ride or a burp... or a happy medium like i chose lol

N8 thank u so much!! I have showed him this and all of the above. But a local fab guy (air bag rides and enclosures) seems to be a magician and better than all of us. Cause he does this number because of his box!!!!!
So n8 exact comparison is what I was looking for and it's still bull and he still lies haha
