this is for a daily, 2 sa-12s powerd by a apsm1300 at 1 ohm(1000rms) not realy into comps (never been to one)
Truthfully, if it's a daily system you should just choose what you thing looks better. You probably couldn't notice the difference to the ear.

And I forgot to ad that loading should not be an issue unless you are going for serious spl.
-
these are the comments i got referring to the first pic
"Some people have had issues with the port opening being right behind the subs, doesnt load them right"
"You wouldn't be using the full chamber and firing straight into the port"
First quote may have some truth but the second quote is bs. Some people need to realize that they are dealing with pressure waves, not a flowing mass of air. It just dosnt work like that. You will be using the whole chamber with all the configurations you posted.

Haven't really see a tests done, but at shows, I usually see the setup like in the first pic get the highest numbers.

Hard to tell, but I think your right on it being a mojo. Either way, great find for just 10 bucks!

Banshee for linux

The dd-1 is only made to get the most possible power with no distortion from an amp. The only way to accurately set it to a certain wattage would be with the use of a volt meter and a ac clamp meter

Like is their a distinct difference in the aq 1200 saz 1200 dc1200 parts wise?
They dont make a 1200 but but how does cresendo compare
To aq dc sundown in the 3500 models ?
Not sure about the sundown, but as far as i know, aq's amps and dc's amps come from the same build house so the quality of the parts is most likely the same.

Here's a new one I just got today. Nothing happens until 24 seconds

Just to throw it out there, parts express has some pretty good projects in the project gallery that you could build

Very jealous of that table saw. Great work!

I does sound like a bad cap. An simple way to tell if one is dead or going is to see if the top of the capacitor is bulging at all. The metal on top should be slightly bent towards the bottom on a good cap. Edit: the change is very subtle so make sure you look closely

ive used screws on lvl 5s in my wall... granted they were bigger screws, they worked fine
unless you got a sub heavier than a lvl 5, which there are not that many.. i doubt you need bolts
im using 2 inch screws right, do u thing it would be okay?
or should i use tee nuts and bolts.?
do you know the size of the mounting wholes for the lvl 5s?
it really cold out ha.
Tee nuts and button cap torx bolts......make it hard for the thieves.
then they will prolly stab the subs haha
and thanks everyone for replying!
But, a recone is a whole lot cheaper than a new sub
-
If you are going for spl, I would save your money and save it for the substage. Plus two ways can sound just as good or beter than a three way in a similar price range

Here's mine
A turbo charged electric motor.
A stick shift jet engine
And Spherical subwoofer

The engine rpm probably drops below the alternators "turn on" rpm. Most Alts won't put out almost anything untill they reach a cirtain rpm. If the engines rpm drops below what the car would idle at, that means the alt could just not be putting out any current.

I personally haven't worked with one but with pictures I've seen, the wheel well looks at least to be 1.5-2 cubic feet, maby more. It looks like there is a good amount of depth to work with. Definitely enough room for a ported 10" or a (edit: SEALED 12" not ported. Bleh). Hope this helps
