i thank you guys are lookin at it the wrong way.. this is a test with one channel clamped at a time.. one channel seeing .5 nom and 1.59-1.75 reactive on each channel.. it is rated 2100 @ 2ohm on each channel at rated 14.4v and he was getting 2800 @ 1.75 and 12v.. meaning he would be getting a total 5600 @ 3.5ohm 12v from the 12k.. think of it as a strapped pair of amps since this is a dual mono.. this clamp test proves this amp is a underrated beast like the rest of DC's amps..... does it really take an 18yr old to figure this out lol.. and a rated total of 11k at 1ohm (.5 each channel)14.4v.. its more powerful than a 9k at 1ohm people

Anyone got some scores off some lvl 2's? I am going to be getting 2 lvl 2 10's in the future on a T500, wondering what I might be seeing.
I did a 131 with a single level 2 12. It wasn't in a very ideal box and was running on about 275 watts. Still not too shabby.
thats not that bad at all im gunna be running 1 level 2 12 in a 1.75cubes ported box, probbly gunna give it around 450 watts, ill be sure to post what it hits on the meter
my buddy has a lvl 3 15 in an ext cab dakota and does 133.7 @ 40hz and around 100rms, on the TL sealed.

will they take 1/0 or 4 gauge wire?
i would assume 1/0
but only cause dc has the go big or go home attitude
i would say 4ga cause the aq1200 excepts up to 4ga.

I would get a second lvl 3 15 they have alot of potential!! And a dc 1.2k

Why such a small pass band?
Generally of you shrink the port area, you can narrow your pass band down ( maybe it's increase the port area?? Icr
i want a small bandwidth so i can slam the frequencies i enjoy listening to.. 20s 30s 40s
-
id do 4.5 cubes sealed & 11 cubes ported tuned to mid 40s.
what kind of bandwidth will this give me? sounds like a broader range than what im aiming for.. thats 2.5:1 ratio.. i want 2:1 or 1.5:1

Stupid phone posted before I was finished ^^
I'd do around 4 - 6 cubes sealed ( I wouldnt go any bigger then 5 depending on power ), and I'm curious where the box will be and what kind of vehicle?
read the post fully.. blazer.. and sealed off right behind second row seat.. amp/battery rack will be where seat row seat would be

.8 cu ft @ 35hz sounds great. wire it to 1 ohm and be conservative on the gains. so u have clean power that the 8 will like.. i wouldnt count on a 140. look forward to like 132-135db @ 48hz? something like that.
