If you've got the coin then go with the level 5's. They should be substantially louder than 1 level 3 15. You'll need a stout electrical system though because with that setup you'll want to start pushing some serious power. Also, you considered the XL's? well really i used to have two kicker comp 15s, and i want something that is gonna be way louder than that but with the best cost so your guys opions would be greatly apreshated, if i can get louder with the level three, im gonna go ahead and buy the right amp and drop some good money into a box, but if not im gonna sell it and save for something thats going to blow it out of the water, so what do you guys think??

because if not im gonna sell it and just go all the way and upgrade to level 5 12s..

no i dont and i just recently found out the guy i bought the sub off of was lyeing its actually a level three... i measured the magnet.. but regarles it should still be able to get super loud correct?

basically hieght isnt a problem, i can go about four feet in depth, and sixteen inches wide

Ok so i have a DC level 4 15, im gonna build a box for it but have no idea how to tune it or even make a ported box it would be great if you guys could help me design one or something its going in s10 ext. cab, and eventually im gonna buy the dc 1.2k amp EVENTUALLY

What do you guys think as far as amps go?? im on a limited budget so nothing to great but something thats gonna push the sub good and sound good and ok ill try it, but as far as builing the port goes how far back does the port go and all that lol

yea i was just thinking with the limited room i have it would be easyer just to make sub and port up, but once again i dont know enough about ported boxes to know any better

well i only got one level 4 so my box will be more around 3 cubes but what would the advantage be to haveing the port on the drivers side?

most likely thats what ill end up doing, im just currently trying to come up with ideas for this box... that and finding a good amp, i have a older spl 1600 watt amp i ran with a mtx ts85 but i dont think that will do the job for this monster!

Thats aswome man, yea ive always wanted DC audio since ive seen em i could just never find a place to buy and i picked this one up from craigslist the other day... it had a new lead wire sotiered on but that was the only thing i didnt like about it, but i dont have the third door option for my s10 so its gonna be a little challenging to fit the box in there... but i cant wait!

Those are actual messurments, and i am awsome at building sealed boxs, but this will be my first ported, so i wanna make sure i know what im doing first... and not only that i dont get the whole tunneing the box i thought you only builtem for the cubic ft they reccomend

i got about 15" for width i could fit 4 ft of depth and pretty much what ever hieght and should i go with ported?
