OP, if you don't already have the subwoofers, we can more than likely recommend something better that fits your budget. I'm not hating on your woofer choice, but why settle for less when you can get better for the same price

Also, I'd suggest a 37hz tuning with at least 14sqin per cube.

Thank you for the offer but I already have the subs I just have to figure out how many I can use and a friend is going to take the rest for his car so o well but I think pretty much everyone has said to do 4 in a ported box so I guess thats kinda decided to. Wow thank you um honestly I have absolutely no clue about tuning any suggestions? I listen to a lot of rap and hardcore mostly also I was wondering if it was possible to put the port on the short side? I know a lot about wiring but hardly anything about box deign tbh so any help or suggestions would be much appreciated thanks

Ok the box would be 50"w and 26"d to fit the car best the top needs to be angled making it 10"h on 1 side and 30"h on the other I can make it square if I absolutely have to but I really want to angle it to make the back seats more practical

Anyways, 4 ported would be louder. But 2 18"s would be badass and loud as shit still. And the age and school thing doesn't mean anything, I'm 17, getting 20 hours every two weeks on a minimum wage job and I just bought two hopefully badass 18"s (......)

The way I see it, save up and get nice things. Don't cheap out and get whats cheapest, because you'll never be satisfied. Do it right once and be done with it.

Ok so rather than arguing about what subs would be better and what size would be better can we actually be helpful and talk about things that havent already been decided also where do you think you can find comps for $50 I'd really like to know thanks hahaha also that's great if your 17 and you can save and get your 18's or whatever but I doubt (although I could be wrong) that your already living on your own. Ok so I'm doing my first major build! I need to know how to wire the subs. Would it be best to wire all 8 or run 2 amps and run 4 to each? I haven't really been able to find a diagram for 8 svc 4 ohm subs thanks!
