The pemiers should be able to handle 500 RMS though they are 400RMS, actually I always put around an extra 100 to 200 RMS more than recomended by company.

Your budget is limiting the subs you can get. I can think of a few of subs that would be around that price and would be an upgrade from Visonik. (1)Scoshe EFX Series (2)Pioneer Entry level subs (3)Fosgate Entry level subs. Like I said at that price your limited on selection. Well hope that helped a bit.
