  1. the NSv2s are rated at 2kw RMS. They will take a 3k no problem at all. I was running a NSv1 on a 3k at .5ohm and it took it without any problems. They are amazing woofers and a lot of time and testing are put into those woofers to get to the level they are

You mentioned your BLs don't have alot of authority hitting the lows. I think your best option would be to build a new enclosure...

And btw OP, DD does not make the 95z series anymore. The 95SC has just as much (or a bit more, I don't remember) motor force as the 95z, and it's much cheaper...

i wouldnt do a 95z a reg 95 would be loud ive got 2 but the rms on a z starts at 2000 rms steve at dd says if u dont have at least 6k on it thares no point in buying it cause the reg 95 is just as loud ddz woofers are made for a shit ton of power we got 10k now on one so my vote is for dd just not the 95z reg 95 be great

Not sure why you quoted me, as I didn't recommend a DD95z, I just told him they aren't in production anymore...

Nightshade is posting great information, and though I have no hands on experience with a Nightshade, I think it would be ideal for you due to the fact that it performs well in smaller boxes. And if you do decide to go with the NS, the NSv2 is out of stock, and Jacob I developing/has developed a NSv3 that will hit production soon.

That is incorrect. The nightshade is not coming out with a new version any time soon. You are thinking of the Zv3 that should be coming out late 2011/early 2012

  2. I havent had a chance to get a good reading on it yet. My best score is 149.9 at 30hz but I ran out of time before I could get a good score. The number was going up as I was going down in frequency. That was the first time I had ran it with that setup. I still have another 4500 to put in put Im thinking the way it sits right now im between a 50-51.

I havent calculated any numbers yet but Im guessing each sub is seeing 400-500w after voltage drop and box rise

unless you're at .5ohm i would bet your seeing no more than 400w each. and those things are moving pretty good for such little power.

finish that wall and you will gain a lot. there shouldnt be that gap between the box and roof, or any sides for that matter.

yea the amp is at .5ohm right now. Once I get my second amp in each will be seeing .25. Like nick said, the wall is still in test phase. I do plan on sealing everything up once I am satisfied with how its playing. And I am pretty happy with how its playing now so I gotta get on that lol
