Notice how mine doesn't have it either? Put it in sketchup. Then measure out the 27.75 for length. Keeping your port widtih of 1.75

You want around 14-18 port area as a general rule of thumb, You want to make sure that your cubic volume is around what's recommended unless you know what your doing.. the level three was 1.5 cubic recommended. See if you can get it before I try it.. would rather you learn that me do it for you any questions lemme know.

It should give everything.. I can input it into the calc if you give me the exact dimentions you are using, any bracing how many port walls ect.. it's pretty simple man. I'll throw up an example if you want one. I'll even edit it some to help you understand a bit more

Torres calculator is really easy actually.. read the HELP throughly

do you guys sell rebuild kits for factory alts so we can rebuild them to pump out more amps if so can i get a price on a 98 blazer if not have you ever thought about offering something like this would be nice
They do.. but there not for you. Only cool people get it..
I kid I kid, curious about this too.. would be nice a little more amps out of my alt, at a lower cost.. don't really need 250 amp alt lmao.

Ive ran about 1860 watts to a sa 12 for about 10 minutes before it started to stink.. but that is true. It has to be clean power for sure but in my opinion i think if you had enough power you could get the 12 louder.. but it depends what your trying to get at. Maybe you would be better off with 2 8's.
1500 watts is really pushing it for an sa-12. Can't play it for more than 30 seconds before it starts to stink. You can do that if you are really smart with the volume knob and feeding it absolutely clean power Else I'd do a pair of the 8s.
sa 12how much power will you have?
1,500watts,,how much power will you have?Curious as to how you know the exact wattage it seems? But also depends on your box.. big box needs less power.. smaller more. Depends application to application. I'd go with 2 8's OP those things look chunky haha.

Your port area per foot is a little on the small side.. won't hurt just figure I'd toss that in here.
-
Wait where are you located?!
-
Umm maybe try two 12s more cone area than a 15 but I still don't see how you got 6 cubes out the back hatch?
I have the same model eclipse and I can bearly get 4 cubes out of mine.....
I removed all back panels to get more cubes!!
CALLED IT OWNEEEEED. Lmao, ona side note I would do 2 massive twelves.. more cone, and most likely.. more power.
-
His trunk is about as big as mine.. except the width is more seems as if he has his panels off? Could be wrong but only way I was able to acheive a width like that was with no panels.
-
6 cubes? Seems like an awful lot for a singe 15.... Hhmmmm
Yet again.. what she said^ I don't know of any subs that have a recommendation of 6 cubes.. I mean you can go out of the recommendation for sure but just realize since it is a bigger box your going to lose cone control so you'll need less power to make it push equally as hard.
-
Go with one 15 ported and it should be louder than both of those in the sealed box
What she said, not sure you'll be at the 150 mark.. takes some effort getting up there.
-
Wall it.
I can't imagine trying to wall my eclipse..

Remember that the XP3000 cannot be put under the hood. It would have to be for the back.if you can fit it, an s3400 or d3400 is generally one of the best for under hood use. Unless you cram a d2700/d3100 in there (which people have done) and IMO, your running 2400w rms, and the XP batteries are currently on sale (15% off w/ free shipping) i would grab an XP3000 for 271.99 shipped. The XP3000 is the equivalent to a d3100 practically, which are powerhouse batteries. Do you have any plans on getting an alt? if not or anytime soon then i would deffinatly go with the XP3000, as it will give you large amount of reserve power without an upgraded alt, which an alt wouldnt hurt still.EDIT: Whoops was already said, my appologies.

make sure batt/box doesnt fly around though
I'll mount the box but not sure about the battery..
-
Amp mounted to back of the seats.. battery on the right side of car.. box in the middle. Should work out okay.
-
pics? lol gotta see this
You wish lmao.
-
Yeah.. came out horrible lmao. If anything I'll have to pay to get it done.. not really for paying for stuff so I'll just try to work with what I have now.
-
Sound gravey.. making it outta left over MDF so if it's messed up it's just a practice run anyways:)
-
Okay.. trimmed it out, not the best but a rough estimate.. I'll make it slightly bigger on the board and just cut where I need.. would that work? Or does it have to be exact?
-
Lol, just got another peice.. 12 at night woohoo or shall I say.. morning almost anyways 5 min till. But Imma see if I can get it to work now.. new razors
-
how did it not work? lol remove the wood from your trunk and set it on a work bench.
take the cardboard and place it ontop of the piece, then run a knife, or sharp instrument along the edges.
if done correctly this will give you an exact cardboard replica of what you need to reproduce on a sheet of mdf.
1/2" or 3/4" is really your call on the mdf.
put the cardboard ontop of the mdf sheet and sharpie around the edges, then either use a router to cut the shape out, or a jigsaw.
Right, but your talking baout the peice under the carpet for more support.. I'm talking about the whole thing.. wanting to MDF the whole trunk bottom and carpet it.
-
cardboard template
I tried that.. didn't work out very well
EDIT: Guess it wouldn't hurt to try again.. gotta find cardboard big enough lmao
-
hows that too bad?
My interior is grey, wouldn't match.

Go design it in google sketchup. Then create the port walls and measure them out for the cutsheet.
