took it right out the box and tested the battery and wazzam bottom row led's were out. i have a hunch it was the delivery guy throwing it on the ground but who knows. i really like it though even though the bottom row is out. might send it back to amazon and try and exchange it out

I got my blue led stinger volt meter today from amazon and when i tested it on a battery i had lying around it read the voltage fine except for the bottom row of led's were not lighting up? it read 12.6 like it was but the bottom of the 2 and 6 were not showing up. Anyone else ever have a similar problem with them?

ive looked into the d1400 14v from xs power and was wondering if i should use that in the front for everything and just have that battery or use the generic battery i have now up front and have the d1400 in the back to run 2 aq2200?

Heres the situation. I got stock alt on a 2007 hyundai elantra and i have the big 3 done. i currently have an AQ2200 pushing 2 FI BL 15'. The plan is to stock two of the amps together and run basically 1 amp per sub power wise. I was wondering which batteries i should look into and how many i can hook up to my stock alt.

I got the system up and running, however i beleive im getting voltage drops escpecially on the low notes. i have recently upgrade power and ground for amp to 0 guage and built box tuned to 32hz. I still need to do the big 3 but was wondering if i needed to get another battery and if so what kind?

Hell no, forget the cap. If your gonna run 2200 watts on stock alt, you NEED snotty battery, and a good one too. Or else you can say bye bye to your alt and amp.

Ok thanks everyone. i just bought 0 guage wire for the amp wiring, and i still need to get 0 guage to do the big 3. i am also building a more suitable box for my trunk. however i have another questioin. would a small cap be of better use then a new or extra battery in my case. im still going to do the big 3 i was just wondering about for some extra power
