Well I got bored today, so I decided to practice some work on AutoCad Inventor.
Spent a few hours learning some new buttons, and tweaking this, then took 1 HOUR just to render these three pictures.

Sadly I forgot to save because I got soo into it.
Went to try some stress analysis and the program crashed...........................................
Wow. For a sec I thought those were real as i was scrolling down. They're kinda similar to the stocks on my Thunderbird, but alot nicer.

Edit: nevermind, figured it out.

Based on information givin -
Turn thermostats fan to on, if the fan turns on then you know it's not the motor, if it doesn't turn on then check all your breakers just to make sure, if it still doesn't turn on then you need to get it looked at cause at that point it could be the motor, capacitor, just about anything.

You want more than a trophy & braggin rights?
But to answer your question, probably money, a big trophy, & bragging rights.

I been using this to "fix" my music tonight, not sure if it will make the sound worse/quieter/not hit as hard, find out in the am tom. Hopefully this guide is right... Really not taking me as long as I thought, after 40 tracks, im wizing right through them... lol
Without watching that vid, it looks like one that was posted a while back, as far as i know Decaf made a couple posts and stated you couldn't remove clipping, because it just quiets down the clipping, leaving the waveform (?) unaffected. I wish I could find those threads, a lot of useful info in them.
Yea, Decaf actually talked about this specific video. You can't remove clipping because clipping is essentially loss of data so you can't remove something already lost. And in this video, all he is doing is changing how loud the bass is pretty much, clipping is completely still present. It's taken me almost 3 years to finally START to figure out how to make a song that I probably wouldn't play to be playable. Example: look at Decafs' version of My Sub & then look & the original.
I'll try to take some screenshots when I can.
-
LOL well you will find that just about all his music is clipped, especially My Sub. Shits flat as fuck. I play Murda Bizness from Iggy Azalea but for some reason My Sub just looks a bit too much since its a super constant kick clip.
Correct, which is why I stated that I bought the remastered album version. On all his song on both his mixtapes they're extremely clipped but the remastered album version is much better, for Returnof4eva at least, I haven't bought Krit Wuz Here.

Thats a lot of magnets
Mazda2284blahblahblah would have a BLAST!!! lol

why do you have to listen to it slowed in wmp?i just watch it as the song plays normally.you can clearly see the clipped signal in wmp.but we all have our own ways in doing somthing lol
Decaf used to say to listen to it on the slowest setting so you can see the signal better, not necessarily that you HAVE to.
& I would personally zoom in super quick for the kicks or loud parts in the bass in Audacity & see how they look, Alot quicker for me.
-
It's been discussed before, Audacity doesn't check clipping for lower frequencies exclusively. It shows all ranges of frequencies mashed together, for lack of a better explination. And your subs aren't going to be playing anywhere near all of those frequencies, so it's not a good way to check.
Practice on .5 speed in wmp or whatever the slowest setting is. It'll get easier checking songs after a while, and if it helps, modify it to clip and run it through WMP to get an idea of what to look for.
Once you know what you're looking for, you can totally spot it in Audacity.
-
also check it out on wmp not audacity
Nahh I'm good, I'm not the type to just look for red lines, I know how to see clipping & squared signals in Audacity. It's alot quicker than listening to it slowed in WMP for me personally.
-
Don't worry about red lines as much as "Flat Spots".
Play a song in WMP on the slowest setting & look for any squared signals, they'll be pretty noticeable & once you get good at Audacity you'll be able to zoom in & look for true low pass clipping alot quicker/easier. And slight clipping is fine, you just gotta know your limit & set your gains right.
& when importing songs from CD's try to use apple lossless THEN convert to mp3 (at least that always makes me feel better).
Hope this helped.

As the title states, thanks for turning me on to Big KRIT, Ever since you posted My Sub in your youtube vids I was a fan. Just bought Live from the Underground & the Remaster of Returnof4eva & I extremely advise everybody to get LFTU!!! I haven't checked it in Audacity yet but it BUMPS! & is definitely one of those albums you play from start to finish. Great Music.
That is all.

Never heard of them but they look pretty legit. Post some vids.
-
Wired to .175 ohms?!?! Holy SHITTTTTT! I've seen .25 ohms but .175 is just redonkulous.
As for the vid, I totally would've wanted to see the dog get a hairtrick lol.
-
If you PM me a link I'll put it in Audacity & tell you for sure. (Not just look @ red lines) But from your pic it doesn't look like the lines are squared off so it could just be peaky.

I have a signed one i can let go for $300 shipped. Did you know Steve Meade is a soon to be T.V. celebrity?
haha nope, doesn't he sign them if you ask him to??
yezzzir, Nat Geo Int right?
-
Yea, which is why I was hoping I could find somebody that didn't want or need one anymore. It's negotiable but under $140 since that'd be one for new.
-
-
I don't know if any of you guys have seen the new type-r's but they're looking pretty legit.
1000w RMS, 2.6" Voice Coil, 31hz FS
It's a little pricey for me but if I had $200 for a sub I'd def get one.
