  1. I need a little help with which Amp I should get. I will be getting these Subs {http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Kenwood+-+Performance+Series+12%22+Single-Voice-Coil+4-Ohm+Subwoofer/1989356.p?id=1218304511834&skuId=1989356} and I need some input on four Amps I've found.

    1st: http://www.amazon.com/AUDIOPIPE-AUDIO-AQX400-2-Channel-Amplifier/dp/B00424RLW0/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1314684612&sr=1-1

    2nd:http://www.amazon.com/Lanzar-MXA414-Channel-Bridgeable-Amplifier/dp/B002UL5VKQ/ref=sr_1_54?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1314695618&sr=1-54

    3rd:http://www.amazon.com/Legacy-LA1089-Channel-Bridgeable-Amplifier/dp/B002UL7YJC/ref=sr_1_66?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1314695618&sr=1-66

    4th:http://www.amazon.com/Lanzar-MXA244-Channel-Bridgeable-Amplifier/dp/B002UL49D6/ref=sr_1_215?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1314696647&sr=1-215

I am leaning towards the 3rd one but I'm not reaaly sure. Any help would be great. Thanx.

  2. lol, you think i gave bad info, when i recommended him to a set of different woofers bro, and don't be a jackass, read the whole thread again.. you'll see that i recommend him getting dc lvl 2 subs so he can have dual voice coils ( ya you didn't catch that didn't you) so chill out man.. and the box will not fit under the seat. This i already know.. he's gonna either have to lose his rear seats or build a custom box the way he wants it..

Wondering which is better dual or single voice coil?

  3. stay away from power acoustik, here's a nice amp... http://www.amazon.com/AUDIOPIPE-AUDIO-AQX400-2-Channel-Amplifier/dp/B00424RLW0/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1314684612&sr=1-1 this amp would be a nice fit to 2 kenwood subs.. but if you want some really nice subs, get that amp and get some dc lvl 2's http://www.dcsoundlab.com/woofers.html

they will sound much better and last longer

best bet for your box is build one.. or i could build you one myself...

I can't find the prices for the lvl 2's. You know what they are?

  4. the box is designed to go behind the seat of a regular cab and you have a quad cab so you would want a box that would fit underneath your rear seat, so the answer to question #1 is no unless you want it in your floor board of the rear seat. Question 2, the sub is okay for a beginner and you would only need a 400 watt @ 2 ohm amp which is a small amp compared what you see on this forum, you could invest an audiopipe 2 channel amp in case you want to run a 2nd sub set up...

Well I took my truck to an Audio store and they looked underneath my seat and they said that there was nowhere near enough room to put any subs under them. Would you be able to recommend a box that would fit behind behind my seats. Also do you have a particular Amp in mind. I would like to eventually add another of the same Kenwood when I get enough money.

I found this but IDK if it's any good or not..

  5. Does anyone know if the Sub Box in the link below will fit into a 2004 Dodge Dakota Quad Cab. Also if the Sub in the other link is any good. I am new to car audio and I really have no idea what everything means and if its good or bad. Lastly if you think the sub is any good please recommend an Amp that is between $100-$200. Thanks for the help.
