  1. ok. I ready to run my power and ground wires for my system. I'm my 2003 Silverado SS I'm running a DC power 270xp. I using Knu Kolossis thru out the wip. Amps will be DC 5k maybe 2. Subs either 2 SSA Zcons or 2 DC XL 15s. I've been reading a lot on electrical and its pretty much a consensus that running grounds from front to back is the best way to ground a system. Ok I'm with that. But I never really could grasp how this is done. I'm not an electrical expert at all so this might be simple, and just over my head. I'm thinking 2 or 3 runs would be sufficient. This might be overkill for my small charging system. Oh and I'm running 2 XS power d3400's under the hood and 2 or 3 d3100 in the bed. 2 at 1st and 3 if voltage drops. Need help devising the best and most efficient way to go about creating a charging system. Also in the future I will be getting a dual alt bracket and another DC power 270xp. Thanks in advanced for the comments.

  2. hello. As I am fairly new to the installation aspect of car audio and this is my 1st large scale build I have tons of questions. Thought I would bring it to you guys since everyone on here seems to have an opinion about things maybe you can help me. Ok. My question is. My original set up had a jl 1000 1 pushing my 13tw5s. In my new set up I'm using a dc 5k for my subs. Would it be possible for me to use my 1000 1 jl amp to push my crescendo mp6. I'm using 3 sets. 2 in the doors and 1 in the kick. I will be purchasing the new crescendo tweets that drop next month. Please everyone that reads this give your opinion. Thanks fellow slump dogs. I'm out

  3. I actually have that thing grounded 7 times, 1 per batt, and 3 at the very end of it, on the opposite side of the positive

and when you run the power wire from the busbar to the amp, ground it on the opposite side of where your grounds are, and put the power on the opposite side of where the powers are..

    if that helps

helps me to thanks im adding batts in an s10 and hard to run a bunch of 1/0 gauge from batt to batt lol

so u do this for a living or r u just a hobbiest.
