thanks for the replies, how about the rodek amps? it was all hooked up to some oldie MTX blue thunder 12s. honestly it was decently loud for how old it is.

Just browsin around a bit lookin at some options as i might go in a total diffrent direction with my caprice build.. a buddy of mine told me to look into soundstream for an amp, so i found a LW1 2600D for a decent deal but i know nothing about soundstream... anyone got any input about that amp?

Mechman, SingerAlternators.com(highly recommend), DC... the list goes on. Surf around a bit and read the forums about different companies.

Most guys new to car audio (including myself) go out and install a bunch of stereo equipment, then wonder why their headlights are dimming when the bass hits, or why the bass only hits hard for 3 minutes then starts sounding weak, or why their car just shuts off when the bass drops (lol.. that's what happened to me).
So tell us everything you plan to put in their and we'll advise you on your electrical. Then sell your wagon to dwright and you'll be good.
when i figure out what im gunna go with ill post it all up, talked to a few local shops. theyre all tellin me to go with alpine. but i know theres better then that. was thinkin of goin with incriminator, any thoughts on incrim?

I prefer upgrading all my electrical before starting a new build.

get a ho alt 1/0 wire big 3 a few extra batts

i might put an amp in the middle.. but ive heard putting the amp on the box isnt good for the amp?

new to this forum..
and the audio world.
used to keep subs and everything outta my cars to shave weight
im over the tuner scene. now im buildin a 92 chev caprice wagon for sound..
just test fitting the box
gunna hopefully be running 6 12s when im done.
any advice would be appreciated
