already took it apart and everything seems fine, no bad capacitors, no bad resistors and everything looks clean and tight like it had never been opened -

Hegave it to me not working and went through everything(externally) such as different guitars and cords and such. But i mean its playing normal music from an ipod so it must not be the fuse? cause then it would have no power -
My uncle works for a guitar shop down in philly, and he gave me an older fender frontman amp which looks to be about 10-15watts. It turns on an when i plug a cell phone or ipod into it with a 1/4in adapter, it plays fine, just a little fuzzy, But when i plug in my guitar it gets abosutely nothing. I figured it was a bad input or such because it seems stereo works fine but not mono

Adding a second battery
Wassalla replied to Wassalla's topic in Electrical-battery- Alternators- Wiring
and when you go to the lvl 3 or the lvl 4 what amp are you going to run?? just things to think about when your thinking of buying a battery..dont want to end up buying so small that it will not be able to support the rms that sub and amp pull.. i would go largest you can fit upfront and a secondary in the back..even if its a small system Not sure yet, i have a massive audio n2 which does 800rms at 1ohm, but i get voltage drop around 13.2 or so on full tilt, just looking to stabalize it, but yes i will see what i can do for both size and budget, Thank you -

well i running 800rms(at the moment), is there a better battery that would suit my needs on a lower budget because i saw the d3400 is rated for a 2500-4000rms system -
I have a lead acid battery under my hood and was thinking about adding an agm in the back such as a kinetik hc800. Will this work and what would i need? or would i be better off with an xs 3400 under the hood only?

Wassalla replied to Wassalla's topic in DC Sound Lab - Big Bass on ANOTHER LEVEL!
Okay so i got that, but my box is and extremely odd shape due to size restrictions. but where i want my port to exit, it will be 14.5in(inner measurement) but when i put that in the calculator it says i need like .25in tall port??? not sure i understand correctly or im doing something wrong? -
Box for level 3 15
Wassalla replied to Wassalla's topic in DC Sound Lab - Big Bass on ANOTHER LEVEL!
Okay thanks, thats what i was thinking. Now with tuning a square port, how do you actually accomplish that? like with lengths of internal baffles? -
Im building a new box for my dc level 3 15 just because i want something a little cleaner and better looking. The old box was around 3.2 cubic feet tuned to 34hz with a 4inch aero port. Now with my new design i can play anywhere between 3-5 cubic feet. But im just looking for suggestions, like port length, tuning, and dimensions. Also what position the port should face, however im dealing with an extended cab nissan frontier 2003, and can only do to the right side or front towards the driver seat. Thanks
