ok so everyone think the 15" XL will do ok in about 4.5 cubic ft tuned to around 32hz with the bxi2608?

alright well as the topic states im creating this thread for a friend that is getting his dads 04 f-150 extended cab. He doesnt wanna do a wall or blowthrough bc he doesnt know how permanent this will be. He wants to just remove half of the bench seat and build a box for that area. I told him that it would be better if he just left the seats and built a box for underneath, using level 4 10's w/ lvl 5 coils off his amp. do you guys think this is a good idea? or would you take out half the seat and build a box for a single 15" sub that can take his amp? (other recommendations are welcome too!)

well guys, you are all genius' that said to look for another blown fuse. i checked the main fuse block in the engine compartment, and after looking HARD at all of them i noticed one was a different color.....darker copper color. i pulled it, replaced it with a uselss fuse.....and BAM. i know have a started car, ends up the fuse controlled ignition control.....and it was most certaintly blown. lets just say im soooo relieved that it was this easy of a fix....now i just hope that nothing happened to my amp or anything (lets cross our fingers on that one).Again guys, thanks to all of you for your help

already tried that. this particular fuse that blew doesnt control starting the car, which is what baffles me

kind of, except that some lights do come on for my dash, like the ABS light.....and door ajar light.

i hope thats it, man i could only hope. but no its not trying to turn over at all.....its just absolutely dead. but like i said everthing else is working. how do i check the surge sensor?

its the fuse that controls the radio turn on. its a 5 amp fuse thats in the fuse box. it controls that, and all the audio

like it states in the topic my car wont start and im freaking out. this is my daily driver and i need it to get to work and school every day. I was out messing with my box tonight messing with the Led's and whatnot, and i didnt realize that the positive from my LED was barely touching the location for the remote wire on my amp (there close together). i went to turn my electrical on by turning the key back to see if the lights would come on.......and poooof. the fuse in my fuse block (where my remote is attached) blew. no problem there, i realized what happened and i replaced the fuse. i tried to start my car and....nothing. it wont even attempt to crank up, so its obviously electrical. the weird thing is that everything in my car still works (such as the radio (with the replaced fuse), the lights, power mirrors, chairs, anything you can name except for the air conditioning and cranking. What could this be that caused this to happen? hopefully it can be fixed easily and is not a multi thousand dollar repair from the shop, because i'll be absolutely dead. idk if it helps but my car is a 2000 expedition eddie bauer 2 wheel drive with the 4.6L engine. PLEASE HELP ME GUYS!
