alrite guys....i was wondering, is there a brush or roll on paint that would be ok to use for mdf? i've used spray before and to me it seems harder to use, i know there has to be a brush on paint that i could use for this...im just not sure what it is?

I started a new project and im adding two more 12's to my system. I started the box yesterday and it is 14 cu ft, and is tuned at 33.7 hz. Eventually im going to be powering it with a 2608d hifonics, which should push em pretty good without really straining my electrical. I'll have some pics up of the box as we (cichlidfort and I) were building it. Right now its getting a nice coat of primer and sanding before we lay on the final black coats. I just built a box, and i wanted to get everyones opinion on the painting of mdf. whats the best way to go about painting it? Is there a primer that i should use before painting it, and is there a certain type of paint that i should use? Thanks for all the suggestions.

well.....im still interested....but i would need to sell my box that i have 4 my 2 12's and get a new box built 4 the 4 12's. then i would need to get another amp. I'll let u kno if i want them....but tell ur friend that im still interested.

yea....that could b it.....any suggestions on what i should do to prevent this? and is this hurting the amp when it does this?

1) when i turned the car off, the first thing i did was feel the amp.....and it was barely warm....def. not HOT to the touch. ). No, I have not tested my voltage, idont have a DVM handy. Why would i be getting voltage drop that would cause me to go into protection when i wasnt before? And im running 0 gauge knu wire.

Alright...so i have a crunch pzi3000.1 amp. I have it running at 1 ohm to 2 12" L7's. I have had this amp for about 3 months now.....and i have yet to have a problem with it. Today i was beatin....and then all of a sudden the amp just cuts out and nothing is coming from it, the subs just stopped pushin completely. I know that it could be that the amp over heated and went into thermal protect, but why did just all of a sudden do it now? I turned my car off real quick after i pulled off somewhere and then i gave it a few seconds....turned it back on, and it worked again. It did the exact same thing a couple hours later. I have my amp sitting in between my box and my back seat ( so not that much air movement), but i've never had any trouble with it before. I dont know if it has anything to do with it, but i have my gains set at just a little over halfway.....with no bass boost. Is there something that i need to do to prevent this from happening again? And what do you think is actually goin on with the amp? thanks for the help

I listen to a lot of everything...but mostly rap. and i mean i want to get it loud for the meter, but its def. more of a daily driver than a comp. car, but i still want it to hit good numbers.

yea....i get what your saying.....but i just like the idea of 4 12's. If i do it im gonna do it right and just build a new box and run one of the same amps that i already have. I'll make the box like 10-12 cubic ft. and have each sub gettin around 750 rms....i just gotta figure out where im gonna get the money to do all of this lol

I wanted to ask you guys what you think about adding two more 12's to my current setup. I currently have 2 12 inch L7's in a 6 cubic ft. ported box, and i wanted to know if i could add 2 more 12's in the same box? I was gonna add them 2 the top of the box. You can see my box in my profile pic....im not sure if i have enough room in the box or not, i hope i do cus i dont want to have to build another box, so if you guys have any suggestions on how i could make this work i would appreciate it.

I had a question about dynamating your car...is it really worth it? I know people that say it makes a huge difference, but then some that say it really isnt worth it.....so whats the truth? also is it hard to install......like, how hard is it to take off all the paneling and flooring of you car (and being able to get it back in?)thanks for your opinions.

It sounds good man....a lot of airspace in the car so it gets pretty loud, only thing i need to do is take care of some rattle that im gettin from my back side windows....but other than that it sounds great
