  1. yea man....thats what rattles the most. Thats really my main concern. I wonder how we can get them to stop?
  2. Hey guys.... i just got my 2 12 l7's installed with a crunch pzi. 3000.1. The system beats....but im gettin a lot of rattle from both the panels of the car and my windows (mostly the windows). I know a lot of people that use dynamat and stuff (which I might), but what can i do for the windows? i appreciate the help
  3. Yea its wrapped in vinal and then a trim piece is layed over it thats wrapped in vinyl also
  4. I wouldn't give them that much power unless you are running them at 2 ohms.
  5. lol yeah I know what you mean about the box. The video does't really do justice. Remember its in an Expedition with the third row out so it doesn't appear to be as big as it really is. They do hit pretty hard.
  6. Two Kicker L7 12s Knukonceptz 0 gauge Crunch 3000 PZI.1 @ 1 ohm putting out 1500 watts rms Alpine HU 9883 Custom made 6 cubic feet ported box tuned at 34 hz The box is wrapped in black viny lil john and the eastside boyz- Throw It Up It gets pretty loud for two 12s
  7. No they won't unless you are doing burps but by the sound of it I take it you're a daily driver. The Hifonics amp and Crunch 3000.1 can be wired at 1 ohm. I had my Crunch 3000.1 at 1 ohm with no problems and my friend has a 1606 at 1 ohm with no problems either.
  8. Is 2058 strand 4 gauge wiring good enough? B/c thats what im looking at getting.
  9. also.... so ur saying that i could get a better 4 gauge wire and make it work? i would rather do this than go to a 0 gauge wire because of all the hassles that it makes with reducers and things like that. If you could send me the link of a good 4 gauge that would work with this that would be great.
  10. its gonna b about 15 to 18 feet of wire.... and the 4 gau wire is just high current flow oxygen free, thats all it says on it
  11. yea i was already lookin into it..... its just a pain cus with my amp i have to get reducers for it. And then i gotta get reducers for my cap and my fuse holder. its just a lot of crap for just wiring..... but ill end up gettin it lol
  12. a crunch 3000 which is powerin 2 12 inch L7's in a 6.5 foot cubic box that is ported
  13. Im looking at getting a new amp that is going to be at least 1500 watts rms. Thats probably what its going to be close to and i wanted to know if my 4 gauge wiring that i have in my car will do the job? I've heard of people doubling up wiring.... could i double up 4 and 8 gauge together or would that be bad? i'd appreciate the thoughts.
  14. could i wire them seperatley at 2ohms and bring them to the amp seperatley instead of in series together?
  15. hey. i was wondering if you guys could help me answer a question i had. Im about to buy a new amp for my setup and my friend had a 3000pzi crunch that hes gonna sell me here are the details on the amp: Product Features : 750 Watts x 1 @ 4 Ohm 1500 X 1 @ 2 Ohm 3000 x 1 @ 1 Ohm Dynamic Music Powers Illuminated, Large New Design Crunch Logo Power Supply: PWM Output Power Circuit Configuration: MOSFET Frequency Response: 15Hz-300Hz Damping Factor: >292 S/N Ratio:93dB THD & amp; N: 0.10% Variable Input Level Control: 0.2V-9V Diagnostic Indicator: Power (Blue), Protect (Red) Variable Low Pass (Mono 24dB): 35Hz-250Hz Variable Subsonic Filter: 15Hz-35Hz Bass Boost at 45Hz: 0-10dB Line Output: Full Range Unbalanced Input (RCA Jack) Phone Jack For Remote Control Dash-Mountable Bass Remote Control Included Power Terminal: 4 gauge Speaker Terminal: 10 gauge Fuse Size: 50 Amp x 2 Im gonna hook up 2 12 inch L7's that are rated for 750 rms each. Would i be overkilling the subs with power if i wired them at one ohm in series (there both dual 4)? or should i just wore them at a 2 ohm load? thanks for your help with any responses
  16. Oh ok. So free air=bad lol. Yeah, my 12 L5 had some mad excursion. Alright thanks guys. I feel a lot better now.
  17. Well at first I had the volume on like 1/3 of the way and played if for like 10 seconds. Then I turned it up a lot louder to like 3/4 of the way. After about 9 seconds I started smelling something kinda bad.
  18. So even if it has a smell it could just be normal? Like nothing is blowing? lol.
