what did you buy? fat mat, hush mat, dynamat?
-
I'm sure that it has alot to do with how you apply it. The surface must be clean. That's why we used acetone to clean the roof off first. I'm not sure if heating it up really helps it stick better or not but it sure makes it easier to work with.

Has anyone had a problem with any of these products falling off or coming loose? We covered the roof of my brothers truck with 2 layers of that cheap shit he got on ebay. We cleaned the roof with acetone before putting it on. We used a heat gun to make it extra sticky & rolled it on with a solid wood roller. Well we took a peek under his headliner about 6 months later & it was coming loose in several places? Are some brands better than others in this area?

I'm also in the market for some sound deadener. What is the best brand to use? My brother bought 2 50' rolls of some no name shit off of ebay & it seems to work ok. Is Dynamat better than hushmat? what should I look for? Mill thickness? I was really thinking of going with dynamat extreme on the roof of my tahoe. Sorry to hijack the thread. I just want to get some different opinions on this stuff.

Yeah, it just really suprised me how they were unwilling to help me track down my stuff. I have a dealer account with them & if this would have been stuff for a customer it would have really put me in a bind. It really pisses me off when I know someone is blowing me off & just telling me something to get me off the phone. I don't understand how it could take an entire month to get me a tracking #. Chassis tech , airbagit.com & truckinsuspension.com are all the same company. Buyer beware of horrible customer service!

I have a dealer account with Chassistech. I recently decided to drop my 03' Tahoe. I ordered a set of coil springs & adjusters, front & rear shocks on 2-11-09. I paid for 3 day express Fedex shipping. On 3-5-09 I finally recieved a box containing 4 shocks & coil spring adjusters. The coil springs were missing! When I called concerning the springs, I was told that they had not been shipped out due to an error in the shipping dept. but I later found out that they actually get their springs drop shipped from spring tech. I was promised that the springs would be sent overnight @ their expense & that I would have them on the 7th guarenteed. To make a long story short, I got the springs on 3-10-09 & they had been spipped ups ground! I made over a dozen calls to Chassistech & sent even more emails. I never recieved an email response & I didn't get a ups tracking # on the springs until the 9th. I have no complaints about their products but their customer service sucks ass! Remember that I have a dealer account with these people. I will never order anything from these fuckers again!
I feel better now.

I have a set of 4 20" rims for sale. They are Boss 306. 20 x 8.5" The bolt pattern is 6 x 5.5". They came off of a 2003 Chevy Tahoe. They all have minor pitting damage which shown in the pictures & 1 wheel has a crack 1/2 way across one of the spokes. I have been riding on this wheel for over a year & the crack has not gotten any larger. A welder would be able to fix this if you choose to do so. These wheels could be powder coated any color you prefer & would then look brand new. I am asking $300 for the set. Email me if you are interested. [email protected]

As darkness fell, the men of Troy did not realize that the instrument of their downfall stood before their eyes... Blinded by their own arrogance, they were overwhelmed by their opposition before they could get their bearings. When the dust settled, the victor celebrated their shining moment... then gathered their spoils and went home to fix the dam.

"The Trojans should suffer the same fate Ohio State did two weeks ago. The Buckeyes fell eight spots to No. 13 in the Associated Press poll after losing badly at USC. That same plunge is exactly what the Trojans deserve.
USC isn't the No. 1 team in the country. It didn't even look like a top-10 team against Oregon State."
Mark Schlabach ESPN

I just want to say, "Hurricanes suck donkey cock!" I'm in Lake Charles Louisiana, holding it down for the storm. I'll have pics & vids from here as soon as I can get them up. Anyone else riding out the storm or evacuating? Wish me luck guys. I have 5 cases of beer & 2 gallons or vodka to hold me over for a few days. I just got done repairing my privacy fence because Gustav knocked over a tree on it. I'll keep you guys updated as the shit hits the fan here. As for now, it's time to wake & bake.

For those of you that don't know, I'm a huge college football fan. I watch College football live on ESPN every day. Well for the past week or so this dude named Billy has been yacking about how good the Oklahoma Sooners are gonna be & about their QB winning the Heisman this year. So I sent in a video response to his nonsense.
Here are Billys videos:

Fuse Box Question

OK fellas, I've got a problem. I have a 2003 Chevy Tahoe. I installed a Pioneer Avic Z2 in the truck. I used the module to retain the factory chime & accessory wire rather than go directly to the ignition harness or fuse box for the ACC 12 volt turn on for the radio. Well it has been working fine for the last 6 months. I am currently 300 miles offshore out in the Gulf of Mexico on an oil rig @ work. I won't be home for 2 weeks. My wife called me this evening & said that when she got home from work & turned the truck off, she got out & closed the door & noticed that the radio came back on. She had the keys in her hand. I have seen a handful of these modules go bad in the past & usually if you unhook the module for a few minutes & hook it back up it will reset the module & go back to working normally. I actually had to do this last week before I came back to work. It seemed to reset & was again working as it should be when I left. Well I guess it's acting up again. Here is my delima: My wife is in no way electronically incline. I won't be home for another week & a half. when I get home I am going to remove the module & tap the accessory wire on the ignition harness for the 12 volt turn on & resolve the problem. But in the mean time the damn radio is still powered up until I can get home & fix it. Does anyone know which fuse in the fuse box controls the ACC wire in the radio harness. There is not a fuse marked radio in the fuse box according to my wife. I am thinking that if I can tell her which fuse controls the acc function I can just have her pull the fuse for a minute or so & put it back in to reset the module until I can get back home & fix it myself. Any input on this situation would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
