  1. I had some cheap led strips hooked up to my speaker terminals and their brightness was affected by the volume and power of the bass notes. They were cool while they lasted.

On another note... those square Halo housings have been on my eBay watch list for some time now. How long have you had them? Any problems with the rings?

So far the only problem is that an LED blew out. As in it fired. I am going to try and replace it with green though.

  2. sorry to steal thread lol....WHERE IN THE WORLD DID YOU GET SQUARE HALOS????

    Google dude.

1983 Chevy s10 halo's or might have been angle eyes i looked up

not square halos there led strips

    They are halos.

There are a total of 4 leds in each enclosure

ohhh man thats sick as fuck ive never seen or herd of square halos when i get my s10 im defently gettin a set of those

Im thinking about taking them apart and replacing the leds torwards the middle with green ones so they fade from green to blue since I am working on a custom LED chevy symbol for the grill

I have one of those and its hooked upto the neons under my truck too.

How it works is the button on the left activates the sound sensitive part You can turn it on so it flashes to music or you can turn them on solid. Them middle knob lets you adjust it to were you want it to pick up the sound. Its not so much you tune it to a certain freq I think its more due to the vibrations that sets off the flasher. The button on the right is just a basic on off switch.

  4. no i have been wanting too for the past month but audiosavings has been out of cadence 0 gauge for a long time. and im a perfectionist when it comes to every wire being the same... but i am wanting to do that. i didnt think id see that much of voltage increase with that so thats good!

  5. hello forum! this is my very first post on here so hopefully this is in the right section and i dont break any rules. i drive a 2001 monte carlo with a diehard battery. i have 3 amps hooked up 2 alpine mrp-500s and a mrp-f300 for the mids and highs. i have two alpine type R-12s. and i was driving home last night and my volts went down to the mid 10s :bull:... basically what im wondering is, will that much of a drop cause possible harm to my system? i want to buy a XS power 3400. but i was waiting to buy it since its a little expensive but if it will blow amps or something like that then im going to order one today. anyways thanks to anyone that responds! im looking forward to spending alot of time on this forum! :D

Im not sure if the volt drop will hurt you buuuut.

Have you done the Big 3 yet? If not you should do it. It is pretty cheap, I think I done mine for under $40.

I was running at about 13.4 and droppin to about 11. Then after the big 3 I run about 14.8 and drop to about 12.8.
