Is there anyone here runnin that DB Drive Amp??
If so what do ya think about it??
If its a good amp its probably the route im goin to go for now
-
Well im startin a rebuild after selling my half wall.
Im running an ancient power acustic amp thats nearly 20years old and is 500watts and 2 ohm stable.
Great amp and super clean power but id like a bit more.
Im undecided on subs yet (my amp will determine it) but probly going to run two 8s or a single 15.
But i found this amp and im not a big fan of BOSS but im running one of there powerd EQs and its not too bad for the price.
here is a link to the amp>>>>>>>> http://www.audiosavings.com/products/Mono-Car-Amplifier/Boss-CE4800D-4800-Watt-Peak-2200-Watt-RMS-Mono-Block-Class-D-Amplifier-Car-Amp/CE4800D.aspx <<<<<<<<<<<
I figured if i wanted a bit mode out of it i could get another one and strap them lol
lemmie know what you guys think.................

just wire ur sub to 2ohm
everyone is so stuck on 1ohm
im runnin an old ass power acoustic amp at 2ohm and it pounds hard and is tight
dont hate on 2ohm just run it lol

on a budget that small id highly recommend saving up a bit more.
or plan b.... look around ur local shops or ask your buddies.....
if your driving you have gotta have a source of income lol.......maybe put some gas money toward a system???

http://www.automotivelightstore.com/4chremote.aspx i found this stuff somehow in my youtube video it recommends me to watch and i click on ther website saw this, i was wondering if it was good enough to use it for my car amps? and a volt meter? instead using mulitple toggle switches, and cut holes in my car to flush mount them
these are rated at 8amps so ii would say that you will be 100% fine using these for your remote leads. However why not run them off your remote lead from your headunit??
If you have multiple amps then run a relay....there just seems like toomany things to go wrong with a remote to turn on your amps....dongle batts goin dead ect
just my thoughts man

Well this is my first thread to start off with....this forum is absolutely great.
Ive got a 99 chevy s10 ext cab
Its my first vehicle and its my baby.
Ive got an old school power acoustic 500watt amp that my dad had when he was 16
its pushing a 15in American Bass XO in a sealed box
in the dash ive got an alpine 9883
this runs into a BOSS 7 band powered eq (i know its BOSS and isnt the best)
All my components are stock but they are coaxial and sound great
this is the current build progress on things
Today was the big 3 day
Lemmie know what you guys think
Thanks guys
