the first port wall should be 12" deep, then turn and your second piece should be 2.5", when measured down the center there will be 6" of length in the bend
Thanks! and also, is the12volt.com a good website to calculate the port length? Cuz i've seem mixed results between a sloted port and sqaure port. :/
i prefer torres calculator, its free and more accurate. look for it under the subwoofer/enclosure section i think
Sick, thanks man

you stop at the width of the port, then measure down the middle. for instance, if your part was 6" wide, stop 6" from the rear wall and make your turn. subtract the width of your port from the overall length for your port wall. say it was 6 wide and you make one turn and needed it to be 30", you would have 24" of port wall. hope that make sense lol
Ok it's starting to make sense lol

Depends how wide you want the port. You should keep constant width throughout so whatever the width is of the port is how many inches you want to be away from the back wall of the enclosure.
It's actually a 18"x6"x20.5" port (HxWxL) but my box is only 18" deep (inside dimention). So what should I do?

ANYONE could you help me out? I want to calculate the length of a L shaped port for 2 Fi SSD 15s. Now, say the box is 24" long and the port needs to be 26" long, do i stop at something like 19", then add the 7"? Thanks!

I think people are just jelous of you bro ahah. That what people do (N)
some people are very passionate about their hatred toward me....you never know. I have people that like the products i endorse, but don't necessarily like me I dont know why really......the ONLY people i have done remotely wrong (and it wasnt wrong in my book), are people that have ripped me a new asshole online for no reason. I rip them a new one right back.....and i become the asshole. Its been that way for a while.

well im finally going to grow a pair and decided to wall off my mustang, and its most likley going to be 2 18" woofers on a 7k amp
question is what kind of woofer will take 7k daily?
i really want some smd woofers but i wanna hear what people think will do well in my application
my buget is no more then 800 per woofer
o and my car is an 05 ford mustang
You could put in 2 XXX SoundStream 18s with quad 2-1 ohm independence if you can push your budget. Or 2 SMD 18s for 899 each....

ok. what about dual alternators setups? like say two 200 amp alts, would that be 400 amps?
Well 400 Amps on 12.6 volts is 5040 watts, and at 14.4 it's 5760 watts. But mind you, 200 amp alternators rest at about 130 amps at idle and about 155 at 3000 RPM, and 200 amps at 8000RPM
