Heys guys, I've been wondering what to do with my build. I have an 04 Subaru wrx with a big 3 upgrade, 0 gauge and a kinetik 2400 in the trunk running a saz 1500d. My voltage drop isn't bad right now, but I'm thinking about adding another 1500d or getting a 3000d. I would add another 2400 in the trunk, but I'm trying to keep my stock alt whitch is 75-80 amps. Any ideas? Like I said, trying to avoid the alt upgrade.

Why are you wiring them at 2 ohms? Get a sundown 1500d and wire them to .5 ohms. It will take that all day.

I'm feeling the xl man. Carbon fiber dust cap and direct leads. That thing is a tank and will take whatever I throw at it.

I'm running saz2500 with stock alt, battery and kinetik hc1800.

While driving voltage doesn't drop below 13.5

On burps it goes down to 12v

i dont think that thing is getting the power it needs man lol.

But why pay extra for a power handling your not gonna need plus extra weight I'n your car , I'd go for lvl 4 and max it out

Yea from what I have herd the 15" lvl 4 should take 1500 no prob long as gain is set properly with min clipping

Thats what i was thinking. And i know dc is way underrated, so it eat all of that power up no problem.

You should check out my build log man, watch the vids I have up. I have 2 10's in a custom box on 35-50 watts a piece dependant on ohm rise and voltage drop, and I get steering wheel flex, hatch flex. I had a friend eating food and tried to swallow when the bass kicked and he couldn't even do it. Small cars are amazing for subs, especially if you can keep it a normal car and just take up the trunk space.
