  1. prep would consist of fixing any dents/ rust and making the place to be painted as smooth as possible right? whats some advice for getting rid of small dents or small places were rust has eaten threw a panel. like in my rear 1/4 panel a spot almost the size of 50 cent piece has been eaten away. with this car new metal isnt really an option as they dont make replacement panels for that part so what would u guys advice i do to stop the rust from coming back ive cleaned it away the best i could with a brush grinder sealed it with primer sealer then bondo to make it flat and flush so then it looks alright for a few months then starts to come back.

just cut it out and weld a new piece in the rust should stop at the weld.

  2. ive done a Lerner course on spray painting/panel beating course.

things ive learnt is prep everything!

dont use cheep guns they'll end up spitting and fuck up the whole thing.

use the same brand of paint as your primer/clear otherwise it might start just flaking off.

mask out properly with perfect lines, doesn't matter if you have to try masking the same thing 5 times,as long as its perfect.

defiantly do on a day absolutely no wind ,if your doing in a shed clean all the dust out.

    spray form top to bottom.

dont spray from one side then stop then the other then stop, try keep the gun going on air so it doesn't spit.

ill try thing of anything else...
