so say the gain was set at 75% on the amp, and i plugged in the gain remote and turned it all the way up. it would still only be using 75% gain since that's what it was it is set on the amp? or would the remote be superior to the amp knob and turn the gain up to 100%?Yea you could do that...i did it for a little while on my old setup..same amp. But if it gets unplugged for anyreason things can get bad pretty fast. lol.
Your better off adjusting your gain without the knob plugged in...maybe adjust it a tad higher for songs that are lacking. Than you can use the knob to turn it down on songs that are more bass intensive but the difference wont be so huge that if it gets unplugged it starts clipping to shit.

so if I was to use the gain remote all the time to adjust the gain as I please, all i need to do is turn my amp gain all the way up and then use my remote to adjust the gain for the specific song? The gain knob is an attenuator - it only decreases the signal, not increases it. With the knob all the way up - it will act like it's unplugged and will go no higher than the gain setting on the amp.
If you are tuning your amp, turn the knob all the way up, tune, and done.

How does the gain remote work. Does the gain on my amp have to be turned clockwise all the way to 100% and then use the gain remote to set the gain to the right position I need it to be at?
Any help is much appreciated

You might still be at a 4 ohm load or a 2ohm load. If I were you i would wire it to 1ohm if your amp is stable that low. Search subwoofer wiring diagrams on Google and that will help you out.

You aren't selling a damn thing till you can follow the rules around here..
-
I plan on running it to an btl n2 but im iffy on underpowering it. if all else fails ill just make a huge box
You will be plenty happy man, With that SAZ on that n2. Especially at 1ohm you will get a lot of power from that amp, enough to make the n2 bump! make sure you get DVC 2 to wire it down to one ohm. And have you looked into the new sp4 series by Fi yet? Those things look so beast
Thanks bro. Yeah the sp4s look sick but a little too much power for me atm lol

I was looking at the amp clamp test sticky and i noticed the saz 1500d reached alot higher than 1500 watts at 12volts! I was amazed but I was wondering if that is highly unlikley to do in a daily setup. did he do something special to get that much power out? If not how much power would you be able to get from say 14 volts?

Sorry man. Ill let you know when i get this whole thing straightened out with this guy. What don't people get when it says "Will ship to the US only!"??
Haha whats up bro. It's all good. I'll hit you up when I get the cash.

I have way to much YouTube videos in my history and I thought it would be convenient with it built in

I was on YouTube the other day and I saw a video where this guy had a headunit with a built in voltmeter. I can't seem to find the video again so does anyone know what type of headunit he was using?

Nice! Thanks for the reply guys. Btw does anyone know of the n2s will get a bigger price tag. I've been hearing things and I'm gettin worried :/
