    what would you guys recomend for covering the box? Hurculiner or carpet?

    only problem with carpet is id have to pay a shop to do it cause i cant do it and make it look clean. but are there any cons to doing hurculiner?

    and there is a tiny pin hole in one of my rubber surrounds. is there somthing better then silicon to repair it from behind?

    Starting a new thread cause ive had some time to play and ive picked out my favorite stuff so far

    Thanks for everyone for the help in my last build even though it went NOWHERE lol. but i got all my questions answered and im ready to do things right this time

    I would say no on the amp because you can do better if you spend a little more. Look on here for amp deals plus you can get a DB drive amp off of AudioSavings.com for $240 with free shipping & 1 year warranty plus I think SMD members get 5% if I'm not mistaken. Here is the link DB Drive it's 2000w rms @ 1 ohms CEA compliant so it does rated power plus its rated at 12v which is awesome. Where are you located though I noticed all of these posting appear to be in Florida plus that area code on the amp is Broward?

    The tarantula amp you posted from eBay I hear is pretty good but I would get the DB drive since I know I can trust it's rating or look around on here you may be able to find an aq, sundown or another really good amp for a great price just hit up the WTB section of the forum.

    ill check out that DB some more

    Hell ya the 4incher are still accutate. And Ive carred Glocks 23,36,30. I don't have em any more :trippy: I know I'm an idoit sometimes.. The whole lock thing on that forum kept weighing on me til I finally got rid of the lock.. The more I'd hear about it the more paranoid I'd get.

    my glocks are somthing i dont want to sell and regret it lol

    the way i see it. when the zombies come, my glock will be worth a hell of alot more to than a brick of gold lmao

    but thanks for the suggestions..ill check em out. kinda considering a shoulder holster now though

    Nice ass gun, is it prelock? 7shot? Just wonderin, I love Crossbreed holsters Ive got a shit load of em, and there belts are nice and last.

    unfortunatly its got the lock. its a 686-6. and its the 6 shot.

    i didnt know that crossbreeds came in OWB holsters till i just looked up their website

    ive only heard good things about the IWB holsters so ill look into them

    ive carried it IWB in the back and you cant tell except that it looks like i shit my pants at the tip of the barrell. thats the only draw back to the 6". i really want a 4"

    Wow thats a hugh carry gun 6inch barrell. I just dumped my 2 686s both prelock one was 4in. Nightstand gun 125gr loaded Gold Dots. The other was a stubby I was gonna carry the stubby 686 but it was to0 heavy, so I went with a stubby 19. Anyways I pulled the lock for my other Smith, that had the lock. Someone on the SW site sells a plug to cover the hole, if your bothered by the lock.

    yeah im a member on that forum..bulls eye smith or somthing like that has the plugs. i was considering getting one.

    and its not actually a carry gun...just a woods gun so im not really that worried abould concelment. just want somthing to protect the gun while im carrying it mostly

    but i think the 4" would be good to carry in winter months. im 6'6" 225lbs so its not too hard to concel. i already carry IWB with fulsize glocks

    the only thing a high point is good for is to club someone to death lol

    i agree that a good 9mm is a pretty good choice for a first gun

    its cheap to practice with and the kick isnt overpowering

    glocks are great guns but arnt exactlly "cheap" but you get what you pay for

    smith & wesson makes a gun VERY similer to the glock called the SW9VE for under $300 or less if youfind one used

    id research the smith & wesson if i were you

    thats only if you have them on you or in your front seat or somthin like that

    if you have them in the trunk in a toolbox or whatever its fine

    but if you really need somthin that bad can you get a lil pistol grip 12 gauge? if your at least 18

    but it would have to stay in the back also to be legal

    Well for reasons I need not explain, my personal safety was and may be in jeopardy so i am looking for a little personal defense.

    Would you rather have brass knuckles or an expandable steel baton? Pick one in the poll and explain why.

    i hope you have a concelled carry permit for those brass knuckles lol

    cops will take your ass straight to jail and its the same as being caught with a gun without a carry permit
