Not for slot ports and alright I am building a box for a sp4 18 and it'll be like 9 cuft and I need a slot port tuned at 35hz the box will be 24in long by 24in wide and 36in tall do about 10 cuft but with all the displacements from baracing and the sub about 9 so I need to figure out the height, wideth and depth of the port! And it's in a 2002 dodge Dakota!

My box will be 2 by 2 an 3 ft tall how big do I need to make a rectanglar port that is tuned to 35hz

This would include a double layer baffle and ample bracing to keep the box from flexing with that low-end monster you're wanting to run. If you want to double layer the whole thing, then we can do 36" wide x 25" tall x 24" deep.

And yeahh well it can be any height and in the back of my truck I can take a single seat out and have 2 by 3 and about 4 feet tall and I have no preference of where the sub is pointing

Soo I'm trying to figure out how I am gonna fit my sp4 18 in a space that's 2ft by 3ft and like 4 feet tall and I need it ported at 33 hz anyone have any ideas

You gotta disconnect the old amp (factory) it should be under the passenger side dash and then find the wires from it and youngonna have to match colors for each door and rewire it to the amp.. Unless You don't do a amp then just keep old wires

What SPL do you think I will get with two fi sp4 18s then a fi sp4 15 I will be using two digital signs m3a 3500 watt amps for the 18s then a m2b amp for the 15 all gonna be in a ported box posted before but got locked cause in wrong fourms I think but I have already ordered all this I will post pictures ASAP but just Wondering

what are you going for. i would probably get a SP4 because it would bang so hard
im just going with something that will bang alot..i know there completly diffrent but for my first 18in sub i can chose either.. and anyone know SP4 weight.. and i cant find any reviews on it at all.. like i know its brand new and all but shit

get the sp4 i have the bl and its alright but like others stated the bl is not on the same level as the sp4 you should pick either sp4 or btl
yeahh i know.. i was gonna start out on the BL as my first 18.. but i kinda already ordered the SP4 but i just wanted to know how much better it is if im gonna drop more cash for it lol.. like i could stop it but it is a pretty good sub? and didnt know you couldnt do a VS post but i just wanna find out so i know i am doing the right thing.. and as far as the SP4 it says it can be sealed.. lol do you think it would even sound good like a 18 sealed..

So i am about to buy a FI SP4 or FI BL.. im going with the 18inch sub with spider spacers and cooling.. but i cant decide i know the SP4 is more quality and the BL is like a baby BTL so like SPL? i need some help and dont say get another sub. cause im ordering either or! and then i need to know what kind of amp i should get i was thinking a digital designs M2b amp for it! but im not sure please help!

did you check your gain on amp? you set your eq on the deck?
yeahh and no i didnt on the deck the decks not good and my gain is all the way because right now i got a 200 watt amp im gonna get a bigger one soon tho

soo im 16 and i just bought a new sub,amp, and Memphis speakers and the head unit i have is the one that came with it a Stock DUAL one and i think its the problem cause even with all this, the speakers sound bad not enough treble and to much bass even when bass is all the way down.. and what are some good cheap ones i can get!
