  1. It would be overpowered and hardly doubt OP would even notice the difference, but that being said...pull it out and sell for the upgrade or install in another vehicle

Why u gotta hate man? I wouldnt run the pioneer off the AQ obviously it would just go boom! Haha Thanks to everyone with a quick answer I guess I'll trade it out to someone local who doesn't know any better cuz honestly that pioneer should be terrible but somehow it being where it is it doesn't sound bad.

  2. So I have a 12" shallow mount pioneer right now in my 2003 Chrysler sebring convertible and the sub and box fit under the folding top tray in the trunk so it takes up virtually zero usable trunk space. It sounds pretty good and I am impressed by how well it performs.

But I've been on this forum lookin around and so I just have to add on! Damn smd and it's members awesome builds haha. So I'm going to add a dc level 4 15" with an AQ 1200d and imma make my own box for the first time. So my question is should I leave the shallow 12" in since I have room and I'm pleased with it or will it sound bad with the combination of 2 different subs. I've heard people says don't mix subs so I'm not sure.

    Opinions?

  3. Just thought I'd post this since I'm just browsing around. This last summer we bought a 2005 moomba xlv wakeboat and let me tell you. It kicks ass. Holds 16 people so everyone can come out on the water and watch. It kicks out such a great looking wake too when you fill the ballasts and use the wakeplate. Wakeboarding is completely different now compared to riding behind our old 2001 crownline (not a bad boat by any means but just doesn't put out the wake that an inboard does). Wakesurfing was new to me this summer since our crownline couldn't make that kinda wake (and it was and I/O which would be VERY dangerous) it was really easy to learn and get the feel for it too. If anyone is thinking of switching from an I/O ski boat to an inboard wakeboat DEFINENTLY do it. We have 4 6x9 pioneer speakers on the tower, 5 pairs of db Polk 6 1/2"ers and only the single 10" Sony xplod sub (please don't laugh ik it's bad) it's a free air so I can't find a whole lot more that will be much better and we need the storage space so putting in a box isnt an option. So what do you guys think?

  4. I got asked a guy (XtremeRevolution) on diymobileaudio dot Com to model a box for a different 15" sub but I changed my mind to the dc So really I probably need a new design but this is the second thread I've asked about a box and ur the most help I've got so thanks! I'm just kind of overwhelmed by how to start a new design. Should I use a 6" PVC? Or would larger be better?
