I've just always had the impression that 4" coils advantages don't normally become apparent until they are able to thermally handle more power than their counterpart 3" coils. I could be wrong too but that's just what I've always thought

2 12s is more cone area than 1 15. 3" coils more efficient than a 4" also. One team sub is cool but 2 zv4s isn't exactly super usual either

I ran a sweep on my sub connected to my amm-1 yesterday and I'm pretty sure this means that I'm tuned to ~30hz right? I peak at 37hz where I clamped 748w at 2.6 ohms so I'm pretty happy with my c2 recon 1.6 amp!

Still got some room in the trunk, not nearly as much as I used to but we all know it's worth the loss.

Do me a favor if you get bored. Turn the box around just to see what it does. I was right around the 139 - 141 mark with my 12" XL sealed forward on a clamped 800-1400 watts. After that I went with two 10s on way less power rear facing and actually gained a db.

I don't even wanna get my hopes up with that tho unless I'm ready to rebuild cuz that makes me lose access to my spare tire so I'd have to build a new box for that to work. I know there's more left in it but it's just that I'm so busy and lazy at the end of the day that I'm happy with where it's at, thanks for the advice though I definitely appreciate it!

If anyone has any ideas of how I can seal it off too I'd really appreciate the help cuz it's a tight gap for trim panels but there is a spot that's an inch wide so I can't really just stuff it with weather stripping.

I met a guy at heatwave that had a Tantric HDD 15 in a Focus Hatch with a box that looked damn near IDENTICAL to yours, apart from sub placement.

Thanks homie, but nah I built the box. I fucked up the kerfs so I ended up stacking quarter circles of mdf, you can see them still under the paint.. I guess I didn't use enough body filler but I'm thinking about making a new box soon, maybe I should seal this one off first tho

Just got my car metered for the first time and I was really happy with my peak

I'm pretty happy with that, I'm just pissed that my amm-1 didn't want to work on the freq/ohms mode so I couldn't check what exactly I was rising to but it must be around 2 ohms

So this has been my past few weekends

This is off the end of our dock, our lake house is in a canal that connects to the rest of the lake so we can have a sand beach that won't wash out from waves.

This is where it connects to the lake and it was a nice looking sunset I thought

Here's a couple pics of me wakesurfing, this is probably my favorite thing to do on the boat. I like wakeboarding and tubing too but this is just so chill.

I've been fuckin close to landing this back roll on the wakeboard but I haven't rode it out yet and it's pissin me off. I can get around on it but I'm just not prepared to ride it out once I do get around. More practice I guess.
