Im looking for a good 8,10,or 12 preferably 10 or 12 I have a fubar 15 in a ported box that flexes back numper and window and stuff but I want more fomr less xD ima build a Tline to go in a little trunk 30x30x14high is this possible? if so post up me some subs

Okay so I finished my box and it sounds good got good window flex door flex adn trunk warps like a tornado xD anyways the sub is upfirign and port is firing into passenger side trunk lid,, I have plenty of sounds deadener jsut need to know where to apply it, since its upfiring the mustang has the rear deck with all the huge speaker holes in it so shuld I deaden that or will i lose spl? also what about bed liner before I stick this stuff down would it help if I sprasy bedliner the whole thing?

OMG LAY THE SEATS DOWN WHY IDDNT I THINK OF THAT!!! lol I took a impact to the seats and took em out xD wow ur way seems so much easier xD and ya my box is perfect for the sub get awesome window flex door flex and the trunk like warps xD

Okay so this is my first time to screw two pieces of wood together xD so be kind on meh I tried xD so here we go lets see if i can get on all this pics right..
PhotoBucket is sooooo slow and I have never used it before xD well I guess while im waiting ill type a lil background..
Im 17 goto a little bitty town that consists of about 3000 people in east texas around a lake called sam rayburn.. people in my city dont really get into bass too awful much,, I have the loudest system in my city xD although the city beside me its a whole diffferent story, they get loud. Anyways im driving my first car still, I got it when I was 14 its a 1997 mustang v6 , its fast enough to keep me happy my friend has a 04 v6 and i smoke him all day (mustang also) anyways my car has a set of ikon 18" rims apparently they dont make very many of em everyone loves em but no one sells em so I guess im lucky? When I first started telling my friends I was gunna build a box they laughed in my face, so that kinda set a goal for me I dont have a job so I sold a spare amp I had for 100$ and got to work
I spent all last night and half of today building it. I used one sheet of Mdf, and let the lowes guy cut the main pieces which he didnt do half bad on, but I had to cut the 4 other pieces. I found out really quick that staples probablly would have been the easier way to go, screw suck I broke 4 drill bits from pre drilling 300screws. once I finished it my friends were telling me there no way I could fit it in my trunk, but I pulled out both front seats then took out backseats and the metal bracket put the box in it takes up litterally the whole trunnk, then put everythign back together, theres no way this thign is getting stolen in one piece xD me and my broher were jus playing around and I turned it on for its first time and we both jumped at the difference My old box was about 1.4 cu ft now I have a 3.8cu ft box with a properly tuned port that I even sanded to round Im very proud of myself it sounds amazing even if it looks like a train wrecked into a 18 wheeler full of glue. so anyways photobucket is almost done here are de pics btw the sub is 15" power acoustik fubar this puppy is huge

Box Outer dimensions 12x30x30 port inner dimensions 10.5x4x20 tuning frequency 35.40 net volume 3.30 i put woofer dis. as 1, sub firing upward and also set as 3 common wall port so what you thing btw I actaully have around 15-16 high, by 36 wide by 35 deep, so i undermeasured to maek sure it would fit :DD

Okay so friday im going to Lowes and buying my mdf, and letting lowes cut it of coarse just to make it easy. My sub is a power acoustik Fubar 15" im going to be sticking it in a mustang so it will have huge cabin gain
heres the measurements for the box that would fit in my trunk the outer dimensions are 30x30x12high, making my pieces 30x30(two of these) 10.5x28.5() 30x10.5() with just a random port wall I made 10.5x20() giving me a volume with sub displacment of 3.52 tuned to 37.07hzThe sub has to fire up otherwise I cant fit it in my trunk
If anyone has suggestions as to port modifications or anything liek that Im all up for suggestions,, or a box design also would be nice :DD If someone was jus in the christmas spirit.. Im only 17 and this is my first box build ever so bear wiff me xD Thanks bunchs guys&gals

If I wasnt at school I would show you hte one I painted, im only 17 never painted anythign in my life and people were flippin when they saw it, it was metallic blue, and everyone htought I put metal shavings in it cause it sparkled sooo much, 5 coats of paint 6 coats of clear coat and did the joystick with black paint from a bottle, clear coat over it, loks amazing little over a year later and none of hte paint has came off yet, and ima mad cod player :DD Also have a yellow one with emerald green buttons, when u have random cans of spray paint and your bored you find stuff to paint xD, now I have a candy red xbox with Gears of war skull on side which I made by printing out the symbol then cutting it onto a thin piece of styrofoam and stickign it to the side of the xbox with spray adhesive, painted it red, removed styrofoam, watch the drool xD also have a blood red Ps2 and a metallic silver 2nd xbox xD

really? then im gunna go home and make mor runs to my sub xD forget buying 8 gauge then xD ima just run two sets of monster 12 gauge

I always thought that it would like build up resistances or something I have just never done it, better to just get one run of cables, but I suppose it wouldnt hurt to try? lol xD I really dont know half as much as some of these guys on here

I have monster 16 gauge speaker wire thats just like the karma so i think i may go with 8 or 10 gauge karma wire and yeah it is u just get an exacto knife and cut that rubber jacket
