Not trying to intrude, but I have some 2/0 terminals if anyone needs some to go along with your purchase of this man's wire...not trying to step on your toes andale, I'll edit this if you want me to.
No problem

It really is good wire, I would like to purchase an audiotechnix or any sort of sample from someone on here to get some more comparisons.
-
My only question is why they dont show that wire on their website. Oh and that I link I posted. Same picture and wire they show as their 0/1 wire MSRP $156.xx
GSI is out of business. I have no clue why they don't have it listed on their website. I am selling it for 21 under MSRP. As seen in the comparison above the wire is larger than Stinger HPM which is a known true 0 gauge product
-
No, that was because I had posted my own ebay listing as a deal not in the FS section
-
Okay, thanks for confirming!
-
No that is not it haha... That is CCA this is OFC. PM Sent can someone else let me know if you can see pics?
-
It says GSI "Reference Series" on the wire
Sorry no ring terminals for sale

I vote for the die hard. It is a proven good cheap battery

I love my 05 RE XXX for home audio. Can't wait to have a real enclosure built for it

yall must live in the middle of nowhere.. My HT is 2 3way sets with a 10, 4, and tweeter. cheap center, and 2 10s. And I cant even turn it past half way for movies because it rattles the garage door.. But I would like to play 8 18s at a decent volume without worry of neighbors.
Yeah I had to downgrade from 4 12s because neighbors kept calling the cops...

Easiest way to narrow it down is to just switch subs. I realize its a hassle but its the only way to know for sure.
-
wire down to one ohm. .What do you have it wired to?
its and american bass HD 3500. . 1600rms at 1ohm not 3500. so even so in perfect world its getting 200rms more (prob more like getting 1300-1400rms clean)3500w RMS isn't a small amount to run to a single level 4. Probably just a little too much power, turn down your gain a hair. And don't play full tilt 24/7
My bad, I guess I should do my research. Try tuning with a 0 db test track, Doesn't hurt to have a little headroom before clipping.

three months ago I didn't have a clue of how to make a box. and everything I know, as little as it is, I learned it in this forum.
thanks!!!
That is great for your first box. My first box was functional... but looked like shit

I have some beat up sony subs laying around, single 4. I just when and ohm them and they read 4.8? Thats not a full 1.5 off
The impedence of a woofer is more of a ballpark, if you look at the sony's t/s it is probably 3.5ish DC resistance.
-
May seem like a stupid question, but did you touch the multimeter leads together and see what it showed before you checked the sub? My buddy had a similar issue, thought he had a blown SA15, ordered a recone, read the same... checked the leads and found out his cheap DMM was just off.
When I touch them together it reads 1.5??
Well there's your problem, that means that your sub is actually reading 1.9. So you are fine XD

Declaring efficiency at 1 Ohm is taboo
