    Look at tuning lower then around 43hz, with a 2:1 ratio you should crush that frequency range and still have a nice roll off up in the mid 50hz area.

    You want your sealed chamber to be whatever size causes it to have a sealed resonance the same as your tuning. Or another way of looking at it, you want your sealed impedance peak to be at your tuning frequency. Some box building software will be able to get a good estimate on what size sealed enclosure that would be but imo if youre investing this much into the build I would build up a small test sealed enclosure for one of the 15s and measure it until you find the correct size sealed per 15. It will probably be around 2 cubes but even being .25 cubes off in eaither direction can hurt your output by a few dbs. So be ready to test!

    Thanks for taking me to school lol. I'm glad someone else chimed in to help bc box designs give me a headache, and I know net to nothing about 4th's. I just read him DC's specs. :drinks:

    Welcome to the forum. Out of curiosity, what is your electrical like? Batteries, alt(s), wiring, etc.

    And what do you mean sealed? A 4th order is ported. Are you talking about the sealed part of the 4th order design? I'm not great with box designs, but their website says 2 cubes sealed per 15, so 12 cubes. The front of the enclosure however, needs to be larger.

    Cleansierra i repect u from other threads u seem smart about all of this and i have been reading on here for close to a year now the speakers are covered the set up was designed by dd and me dd has the speakers and amps covered the electrical is the only thing i wasnt sure about so i thought i would get on here and ask yes i am a kid im 18 and really love car audio ya i know yall dont like me very much cuz the semi batts thing but for right now i only have a hu and one 2000 watt amp when i get all dd amps i will have all xs power batts the mechman alts and everything the turning the truck off and playin is in my town we set at walmart and listen to music do burn outs and stuff like that for hrs on weekends in the end i am still a kid im tryin to learn wats best an right to do most of yall just say bullshit and call me a lier (slamminbeats quit now if u stick to ur word you pist me off before i repected and liked u) so i will say retarded things get lots wrong but we are human if u look everyone that says positive things i thank or try to at lest if i didnt sorry thank u now im sure u were at my stage one time or another and my final word i will make more threads askin more questions if u dont like wat i ask or nothing positive to say dont post

    Sorry that my attitude was shitty, you seem like a nice kid. Im glad you did some research before posting. I still thinkyou are going overkill on your sound stage but it IS you're sound stage. Good luck and please post pictures when you start building.

    I know this kid, he lives abut 20 minutes from me, and he is a great kid with a big heart. He has alot to learn in the car audio world, and I agree, he should sit back and read a little and just learn before posting. BUT, don't hold this thread against him. We've all made stupid posts at one point or another and like a said, he's a great guy with a big heart, who doesn't mind helping people out.

    AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A supposed "DEALER' that can't spell, doesn't know dick about box building, doesn't know anything about products he wants to "sell" ( which I think really means install in his hoopty), doesn't know how to contact suppliers for products he wants to carry, And ain't worried about whether or not someone would consider going to his "shop" ( which again, I think translates to his mom's garage). As a supposed shop/ dealer, wouldn't your primary concern be whether or not someone would give you their business? Especially if your just starting out, being a dumbass and rude is definitely a marketing strategy i'm not to familiar with. Just what we need. I got a five spot that says this dill hole only wants to be a "dealer" to get himself a discount on shit for his own build, and will probably end up ruining said equipment.... Good luck keeping 'dem pockets fat... Maybe the dealing you should stick with is the dime bags of doo-doo off of Moms' front porch. And in regards to one of your other threads, you want to sell/ bring AA to your 'hood, but you're only looking to stock 4 of their woofers in one size with matching coils? Doesn't sound like a store to me, sounds like gear for the back of your car... Maybe you can fuck that box build up as well. Good luck "dealer".
