  1. m2 Level 3 15s want 3.5ft3 net airspace per sub. 100in2 of port and tuned however you would like based on the music you listen to. 30-35hz is what I personally prefer.

    No they don't

Do tell me how you know this. I must be a noob that knows absolutely nothing about DC products. Ive never run the m2 Level 3s either. Im all ears.

as a dc audio sales representative i think CJ knows exactly what hes talking about when it comes to DC products.

sick build btw :D what subs are those you have on the ford?

  2. i was looking into sundown audio or dc audio but not sure on what subs would work best with my amp

well your amp is 1500 watts so i would look at subs that have that kind of power handeling. i.e. a level 4 is 1400w rms or 2 level 2's would be 1200 rms ( 600 each)

alright thanks that helps a bit i was looking preferably for a pair you think the amp can push a couple of level 3 12s? and by any chance do you know how much those subs run for? i have enough room to have a proper ported box for it i just want it to be as loud as it can

  3. i think im gonna start making this my official response to threads like this.

If the subwooofer is made by a vendor on this forum than its reccommended my many or most of the people here. it really depends on what you want and the enclosure you put them in. from there its really up to YOU to figure out what you want and what will work best for your ride.

    and i agree man thanks

  4. This Is going to start a vs thread. Way to many variables. No idea in your particular setup what you would like best out of dozens of companies.

not trying to make it a vs thread im just trying to see what other people have used or personally recomend i dont want someone to tell me this sub is better than this other one i just want something that will get loud lol

  5. so i was thinking of maybe selling my two kicker l7s 12s and switching it up to different subs i do love how these subs hit but i just want to try other subs. what would you guys recomend? i have a rockford t1500 amp for the subs big 3 upgrade yellow top battery under the hood. the space for the box i have alot to play with so space isnt an issue i just wanted to see what you guys would reccomend would be good with that amp? 12s? 15s?

  6. I had the wheels on my race car and quite a lot of other stuff on it powdercoated. I went with a cool special order color called "Bronze Burst" that is basically a dark brown with gold speckles in it. It was about $120 per wheel with the extra charge for the special order color.

Before and after on the wheels.....

damm that made a bug difference in the look. nice car man :) 120 per rim isnt bad. do you think it be more expensive on 24s?

  7. Big box, tune mid 30's, about 14-15 sq inches per cube of port area. 8 cubes net depending on power, of course. subs facing up, port facing the hatch.

agree! four kicker l7s should get fuken loud..i have two right now but i want to do exactly what your planning on good luck :)

for daily driver two kicker l7s arent a bad choice :) heres a vid of mine doing some roof flex :D let me know what you think..l7s can get pretty loud and not very expensive

voice coils you must see what impedience your amp can go to to see if you should go for dual 2 ohm or dual 4 ohm the subs have no performance difference its all about how to wire them to the amp :) hoped it helped alittle
