  11. Box Specs for DC LVL 4 12"

    I am getting a DC LVL 4 12 soon and was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for a ballpark volume and port area. Box will be sub and port firing forward. Also curious on how anyone thinks a tuning freq of 35hz sounds (goal is mostly SQ but still wanna try and get loud with the power im giving it -->) Only reason I ask is that I will only be able to give it 500w rms till i can afford a bigger amp sometime this winter/nxt spring and i keep hearing that less power=bigger enclosure.

    EDIT- also i shouldn't really have any size restrictions besides the height which is a max of 14"

    A real good box wood be 3.2 to 3.5max net

    round 60sq port this is what I found to be best for this sub

    Yeah I've gotten pulled over 3 times for loud music only got a ticket once which was the first time I got pulled over.

    It usually is just up to what cop pulls you over because most cops find it to be an obsured ticket to get. $75 for my first time.

    I got pulled over for being heard 9 blocks away and no ticket : ) guy laughed and said it's a nice system but please keep it down : )

    Lucky you my 1st was 250plus court costs

    i was wondering if anybody from tennessee could help me out can a cop give you a ticket for just tweeting your mids and highs but without a amp? I have heard they cant but then i heard they can but can someone let me know something plz and thanks.

    I know here in hey henrco virginia it's not a traffic offense it's a county ordinance and it's a low class misdemeanor if tha car herr it 50ft
