In my opinion there is no point in tuning lower (28-33hz) if you're just going to cut off the lower end response of the box. I would set it where Cody recommended at 25hz and maybe you can get away less, it just depends on where you start to unload etc.

Really? That's awesome!

Sorry you got screwed man

If you want to play a wider range of low end frequencies, I'd shrink the port to about 12 per.

I used to play back when the game was actually semi difficult.
These days leveling up and high tier raiding is so easy a 9 year old could do it..
But anyways, lotta good nostalgia from that game

Im fully aware that they are talking about wiring to a nominal of .35 or .5. My point is that if you dont know what you are doing then you shouldnt be wiring an amp that low and praying that you have enough rise to get you to 1 ohm reactive. Its just not worth the stress on your electrical and amp for maybe a few hundred more watts.
Out of curiosity, what do you mean by "a few hundred more watts". I think that the difference between 1 ohm reactive and 1 ohm nominal is a bit more than just a few hundred watts; on a 7.5k anyways..
I'm not trying to bash your post, but people always say that there will be minimal gains from wiring to get a 1 ohm reactive load. But in my head, it seems like being at 1 ohm reactive and wiring at 1 ohm (+3xish rise) would be quite the change. Maybe I'm wrong or misunderstanding your post..

The sa might be slightly louder on lower power. I've got two zv3's and they take some power to get moving.
It shouldn't be to huge of a difference though, if you're going to upgrade anyways, if buy the Z.

What address did you contact and what is your e-mail address ? Also what day.
All taken care of, a rep got to me today. Thanks!

So far the build looks flawless and I really like how you made the fiberglassing and pods to blend with the stock interior colors of the Lexus.
Score with the new alternator; I wish mechman made one for my own vehicle.
I must ask, what were you dropping to voltage wise with the stock alternator? 12s?

On the recone price sticky it says; all prices+ shipping and handling.. Or something.

Hey guys, I'm having a bit of trouble contacting you over email..
I need a quote for 1 Z v.3 D1 recone and 12 spoke basket shipped to 98826.
I know the price of the recone/basket but I don't know how much you need me to PayPal for shipping.
If you could get back to this or my email, that would be swell! Thanks-

apple removed support for google (hence youtube not working) in iOS 6
Wow, I wasn't aware.
Thanks for the info, problem solved. Kinda.
-
I know this isn't an issue with the site, just with the new apple ios6 not permitting me to watch YouTube videos on the mobile site.
Anybody else experiencing this issue, any way to solve it?

Im still experiencing there being no full site button down below so I guess no message replying for me..

x2 on trimming down the wire. Probably the easiest route to take.

Yeah man mistakes happen, but I have the same kind of luck that you do. Shit like that happens to me all the time and it does really bum you out.
I knew I shouldn't have gotten excited about them because something was going to go wrong and yup, it did.
Maybe I just should get excited about stuff anymore hahaha
Any more I just expect to be let down. Then if everything actually goes right I'm ecstatic.
Hmm that's sounds like a good way of looking at things! I might just steal that from you..

That really sucks, and what sucks worse is they built the custom for you so you would think they would get the size driver correct....
Right!? I couldn't agree more. While I know that anyone can make a mistake, It just really bums me out that I have to wait another few weeks for the woofers to get here and miss my show because of their mistake.

So I ordered the vvx-15 package from skar, and I have been waiting all week for them to get here and it turns out they sent me the 12's which won't work in the custom 15 box they built for me.......
So now I won't have my subs in time for the show next weekend and I probably have to wait until those 12's arrive back to them before the 15 ship. So that sets me back 2 weeks right there.
Not a happy customer although I appreciate the free return shipping.
Also, I know, cool story bro.

LIGHTLY used used is preferred.
Pm me with amp and price.
PLEASE DO NOT BOTHER IF NOT OVER 150 POST MARK.
Thanks guys

My vvx 15's are going to have about 2.8-2.9 each..
Might want to look into SKAR because they recommend 2.2-3 each which would work space-wise for you

Great guys here. Anyone in the area should look into it
Anyone rent CC-1s on here?

The whole renting dd-1/ cc-1 thing is a cool idea..
Maybe have someone put in a deposit and pay for shipping and when the item is returned you can give them part of their deposit back or something.
