  1. A lot of it depends on the car that you are working with. A lot of times kick panel mounting is a great way to go, my front stage is in the kicks i have a very wide stage width my height is right on top of the dash the only thing i lack a little of is overall depth. the first thing you need to do is measure from your listening position the distance between the kick panels and your head then measure the distance between the a pillars and your head and figure out which will be closest in path length. Remember aiming is going to be key either way you go and get a good signal processor with time alignment.

  2. Hey everyone thanks for stopping and checking out this build.

The vehicle is a 96 Ford F350 4 door long bed. The equiptment going in is:

    Head unit: Pioneer Deh-80PRS

Mids and Highs: Re Audio XXX 6.5 component (2 pair in the front doors 3 pair in the rear door)

RE Audio REX8 subwoofer (2 per front door)

Subwoofer: RE Audio XXX 15 (4 of the big bastards ported through the bed into the cab)

Mid and High Amplifiers: RE Audio XTX800.4 (1 to run the 8's 3 to run the components)

Sub amps: RE Audio XTX-MT10K (2 of them should be enough power)

Charging System: 1 12 volt alternator to run the truck and accessories 3 16 volt to run the system

    Batteries: 23 Kinetik 16 volt

Fab work done by yours truly. This will be our shops demo vehicle our goal is to get the excitement of car audio in Reno NV. I will be posting updates as i complete them so stay tuned.
