1 15 if you are not changing amps. I have had lower power 15s on a 1k amp, then went to a level 4 15 on the same amp and was louder, way louder (in reality this doesn't have much relevance because all applications are different, but in my case 1 higher power 15 was yummy.)

I have a single 12 inch HDC 3 subwoofer. I want to get louder. but i like the single woofer setupd. MY amp is a AQ 2200. run great. My question is what should i do? there are a few things that i want to do. What would yall rather see? Should i get another HDC3 12? should i sell it and get 2 skar 12's? Or should i buy a 15 suboowoofer with greater power handling. Like a 15" modified DC from Techforce or a BTL or a DC XL or level 5 ( when they are back) or an SP4.? so basicly. get another twelve, or go more power with a a single 15

I am still new to doing power correctly so my head lights dont dim when the bass hits. I dont want distortion or lack of power to the amps because I didnt build the correct electrical

dual 3100 will be a pretty good uprgrade to your battery bank. I personally have 3 5100s in my car and those do just fine with the power i run, i never run below 14v full tilt.

just make sure you alternator is good, and you have a big battery bank. and running 12volt batteries you should not drop below 14v if all it well
