I was looking for a new battery as my old battery is craping out.this is the third time this month that my car dies before I start or up in the morning in cold days...the car is a 2001 pontiac grand price gtp
XS 5100 bro,,, great starter battery and audio battery for small cars

There was a misprint on the labels. The CA for the 5100/5100R is 745
Ohhh so the actual max amps is still 3100, despite the label?

I would always go chevy man.

Go look at Fi, you may like the Fi,Q if you arent to worried about being stupid loud. I would get 2 sp4 12's personally

So I drive an 03 focus, have grounds done in 4 gauge the alternator wire is still 8 gauge... but regardless my car idles at about 14.12~14.27. However when the bass hits my headlights dim and all interor lights dim bad. So I think well my voltage must be dropping maybe I have a bad ground or I need to upgrade my charging wire. Amp is an alpine mrp 500 pushing 2 4 ohms subs wired to 2 ohms. Amp suggest 8 gauge I used 4 gauge, check voltage at amp only about ~.1 less than at batt. When the bass hits the voltage at the battery never drops below 12.9 and at the amp to maybe 12.7 or 6. Is this normal? Thanks in advance if you need more info let me know.
I had that problem with my car. Even after i uprgraded to a 170amp alt, it still dimmed a bit. It wasnt until i put some new batteries under the hood and in the back that it stopped. I would say that its mostly because of your small charging wire and battery. Dont worry about upgrading the allt at such low wattage

Knukonceptz 0 gauge, It great stuff. I have 2 runs of 4 gauge running to my battery positive in the back, then 1 run of zero coming off of it to my AQ2200, then a smaller going off to my 4 channel, My wire doesnt get "melting hot*

so i just bought the RF 2500-1 BDCP and its recommended at 1/0 Awg wire..i was wondering since i already have 4awg wire installed my car..if it was okay to power this amp with my 4awg??? also i have a single fi btl n2 15 and the rf amp is 2500 @1&2ohm was wondering if this would be too much power to be feeding this sub..i don't want to blow out my sub so soon. THANK YOU!!
I dont think the wire will melt bro, You just wont see more than 1200 watts of power traveling through that wire

Looking to buy or possibly trade for 2 or more SA-8's or DC Lvl2 8's. Oh yeah Id perfer 2ohm dvc but hit me up with w/e you got.
Hit up CJ, he will work with you. My favorite DC rep

Of course man, of course to most extent its trivial. But if you want to run 200 watts RMS to a comp, you are going to want to use whatever wire can be the most efficient in delivering the power and the signal at the same time. Look at Knukonceptz speaker wire. The TCA wire is alright, I am using their Kord 12 gauge in my setup right now, But next settup i will definitely use the karma wire, it is TOO easy to run

running the jvc 840 deck
to sundown saz 1200 deck
2 12 choas subs the subs dont even move everything is on and hooked up rigth is there a setting on the deck for the subwoofer on/off. I know everything is running right because when i plugged in the RCA ut nade a thump noise when rca touch amp inputs. soo any help would work. yes they are wired right the subs cause we just played it in another vehicle.
Yeah there is a subwoofer on and off on the deck, If you dont have it on, no signal will go to the RCA's. But maybe check the level of the subwoofer signal on you HU it may be turned down or negative. If not make sure the amp it working

I just got two in the mail today, I was wondering why on the website it said 3100 max amps, But on the batt itself it says 1600max amps. And does anyone know the true CA of a 5100?
